Need information. How do you get it to push in to install?????
Can not get it to push together to install. WASTE OF MONEY.

Purchased for RV - Motorhome Storage Doors
Bought several of these to modify our motorhome's basement doors. Due to my inexperience with gas struts, I bought the wrong strength at first (67 lb.). Then I purchased the 22 lb. strength units, they were just right. These have really helped us. I'll use the 67 lb. units on another project.

Works well, really strong, arrived fast, wish it came with locking nuts for the L mount plates
Very strong, one of these "67lb" gas struts seems to work as well as the original 2 x 60lb. Wish it used some sort of lock nut, I will have to secure it again with loctite so it doesn't inevitably rattle loose

Unless you have a heavy door, you'll probably need to release some gas to match weight of door.
Easy to install once old riveted gas shocks removed.
