We got this carryon for the 3 year old and IT WAS A LIFE SAVER!! first our 3 year old boy loved it and wouldn't get off. So no wild 3yo running amuck at the airport. Second, THIS THING ROLLS LIKE BUTTER ON ALL SURFACES. I was literally pulling it with one finger on the hard airport surfaces. It fit under our plane seat so it's not that big. Good amount of storage space - enough to fit 3 to 4 days worth of clothes and 2 pairs of childrens' shoes in it. I'm not sure I would put a child younger than 2 years old on it because they need to be able to hold on to it. Our kid just put his feet on a bar above the front wheels and he held on very stably that way. People stopped and asked us about it constantly. Some folks took pictures of it. Kids were pointing at it. It was weird but kind of fun having so much attention at airports and hotels. I just can't recommend this item enough.
