Within every chapter are relatable stories, powerful prayer points, and scripture passages that are a soothing balm for real struggles every mom faces. Heidi’s words have also convicted me not to undervalue my daily motherhood moments but to be intentional in modeling for my children what a real life, day-in and day-out walk with the Lord looks like. A strong thread throughout this book is the importance of arming our own children with Truth as they go out to impact the world. Heidi’s book also issues a rallying cry for mothers not to walk alone. I have been challenged to seek out other mamas and build genuine relationships where we can point to Christ's sufficiency and hold one another accountable in our gearing up and reliance upon the Lord. Heidi’s book will lovingly refresh and inspire you to know who you are in Christ, to be strong in the Lord, and to let your children see Him in and through you.

Ladies. I LOVE this book. Equal parts inspiring and convicting (also with lots of laughs!) and, overall, a VERY enjoyable read! We read it as part of a church Bible Study over the course of a few weeks but I could have easily read this in a weekend. If I had unlimited money I would buy a case of these books and hand them out to Moms on the street. Heidi really dives into what God calls us to do as moms and how today's current culture goes against us in many ways while she motivates us to seek His guidance and inspires us to keep on keepin' on. The chapters are short and easy to read but PACKED with goodness and supported with specific Bible references for further reading. There are prayer points at the end of each chapter which are SO helpful for recapping the focus of the chapters and for praying specifically over what you've read.There is also a study guide you can buy to dive deeper but the book stands on its own two feet. I will read this book again and again and keep referencing it in the future as well as buy as gifts for mama friends.

This was an incredible book to help all moms. So many times we feel alone or like no one understands, but this book helps to realize we all go through similar struggles. A friend invited me to do this study along with her right when our first child left for college. My favorite quote from the book was, "I was launching an arrow, not throwing out a boomerang!" and "God could take care better care of her that I ever could." This book has helped this transition so much for me and to realize HE is in control of all situations. I cannot recommend this book enough to any mom who is dealing with diapers to letting go.

As a young mom with 4 kiddos under 5, I often felt weary and unable to parent effectively and in a godly manner. This book was just what I needed! My favorite thing about this book is the way Heidi constantly points you back to the Word and God. We can’t teach our children to be godly young men and women if we’re not in the word ourselves and setting an example for them! The word is where we need to be looking for our answers! I also loved her prayer points at the end of every chapter! Sometimes its hard for me to think of what to pray for my family and these points were a great scripture based guide!Heidi is honest, caring and engaging! She is passionate about helping parents to be strong in the Lord and raise the next generation to love the Lord. I felt encouraged and challenged, I laughed and I cried and in the end I felt refreshed and enabled to be the godly mama I want to be.I bought 4 copies for my friends and even got my mom to read it with her bible study! They're all moms of older kiddos and grandmas. They loved it and so will you!!

I found this book as a 1st generation Christian mama trying to raise her kids in the Word of God. This book left me speechless! So much that I bought 4 more. 1 for stand by and the others for my sister, sister in law, and cousin! I just ordered the Bible Study too and when I am able to will get the devotional! It felt as if the book was written for me at the very moment I needed it! Must have!!

For any Christian mom looking for help in the midst of motherhood. Heidi’s words are truth, grace, strength and life all rolled into one. Between the Bible verses she sprinkles real life experiences bringing it all together.

I was privileged to receive a pre-publication copy to read along with a group of other ladies and it was pure torture to stick to the reading schedule we had, because I DID NOT want to put this book down, but to soak up each wise word she shared. What a breath of freash air this book has been. I recieved an advance copy, but cannot wait for my paperback to arrive. It is a book I will be reading over and over. Heidi is so real and so clear in her writing. It is a book that is full of hope. It is practical. It makes you laugh, it makes you cry. It speaks to the tired, overwhelmed mother heart. But the best thing of all is that it takes you back to the Bible, again and again. The whole book is based on this. Being in the word, knowing the word, making God your priority. Through this, so many things are possible, and Heidi tenderly leads her readers back to scripture, and to God. This book will impact many for good. It has already helped and encouraged me and I will be recommending it to my Christian Mummy friends.
