It seems much more heavily made than our last umbrella that bent in half the first year, after a storm. This pole is much more thicker and screws together with threads. The canopy seems thick and the lights are bright! We are looking forward to Friday cocktails under the solar lights! Seems well worth the extra money - my last was $200 less as I mentioned, lasted one season.

We just received our umbrella the day before yesterday, and found out last night that the lights on one of the ribs do not work! I have left a message for the seller, through Amazon. We’ll see what happens. The size, color (blue), and quality of materials is all great. But the lights don’t work! That’s the main reason I chose this umbrella! At nearly $400, the lights should work. Supposedly, this umbrella has a 5-yr warranty. We’ll see!UPDATE:We were contacted by the seller “Freetime Fun” concerning the one light rail that didn’t work. They remedied the problem amazingly fast and to our complete satisfaction. I would definitely recommend purchasing from this company to anyone who is considering any of their products. The product we bought is top quality and the customer service is unbeatable.

The media could not be loaded. Have it on our 6’ long dining table. Lights are subtle. Didn’t think I would need the optional circular battery clamp on the pole light but it does need it.

I got my Freetime Fun 10ft umbrella (sand) recently and have been enjoying it. I was tired of spending money almost year after year on umbrellas that couldn't withstand the elements or broke easily because of the thin poles that you commonly find. I also wanted an umbrella with no tilt feature as those frustatingly seem to break as well.So...the good: The fabric is nice and it's vented. I've had an instance where it comes off when it's down, but that's a minor issue. It's got great coverage and the lighting seems to be well put together. It cranks up and down easily and has a built in "strap" with velcro on it so you can make sure it's bundled tightly together when not in use.The bad: As much as I hate to say this, the pole...as well as it's made...is also it's biggest flaw. It's two pieces and you have to screw them together. Easy enough, right? Well, the problem I've found is this umbrella will spin generously if you have any bit of breeze at all because of it not being one solid piece. I've found myself constantly having to spin the top half back in place to the point of stopping, but the wind will just eventually spin it loose again. Really disappointing! It seems to me that a design change needs to be made where a pin could be put in place to keep it from rotating. Something. As is, it's a major hassle I find myself dealing with when my umbrella is in use for a good portion of the day.Also...and maybe it's just my particular umbrella, but the solar lighting flickers constantly. It's not like a full on flicker though. More like a low level flicker that some people might notice and others might not. Not a huge deal, but it's something that I notice and is a bit of an annoyance.All in all, I love this umbrella despite it's flaws. However...it *could* be better though. And for the money, it most certainly should be.

Wow, quick delivery! Umbrella went up easily and we started using it right away. We were impressed by how long the solar lights stay on.Last night they were on for 4hrs and still going strong when we went to bed. The umbrella is big and seems to be very well made. I’m glad we paid a little more for it as it seems as if it is going to last. Very happy with our purchase!

The umbrella came quickly, and it was very easy to assemble. They brag about the thickness of the pole in the description…and they are right! It’s sturdy and very well made. We installed it in our table over the weekend and it is big! We have an oval table, so this should give us some great shade.
