I've use this brush for a few months now. Will say I'm impressed with the quality. Have not had any bristle sheading and the stiffness of bristles is nice. It's a nice dense knot. Will definitely buy again when this one wears out if it is still available in 5+ years that I expect to get out of it.

I didn’t think I would like this as much as I do. The brush is very high-quality and easy to use. It lathers to a point that I didn’t think of possible. It makes the smoothest lather of shaving cream possible while also slightly exfoliating the skin and bringing up the hair to be cut. it looks pretty durable and compact. The stand is an amazing addition because it allows it to fully dry and gives it a sleep look. I love it 10 out of 10

I just love this brush! Softly caresses your face while you are applying shaving soap - as long as you paint it on, don't jab. Easy to apply soap. Easily works up a great lather both in the bowl and on your face. Easy to rinse out, dries out almost instantly. Love the handle, just right to hold and will never deteriorate. Never was any smell to this brush from day 1 and zero shedding thusfar. Just one tip: It is better to let the brush soak for a few minutes before using it rather than just running water over it for 30 seconds, as some people do. I am immensely pleased to have made this purchase. Thanks, Rocky Mountain, for selling such a quality product for a more than reasonable price!

I just used this brush for the first time. I'm not a stranger to using shaving brushes, which I prefer to just using my fingers. This brush is pretty good at making quick work out of preparing your skin for a close shave. Lather/cream spreads evenly and stays where you want it. No loose hairs at all first time around. As for the stand, well; I've seen better but it works. Problem is that it's plastic and slides easily over the counter. No weight to it.

I was mightily impressed by the quality of this brush. I had bought a Perfecto badger brush whose handle had within months had all the paint flake off, leaving a bare wooden handle that began to split from the water. So, I decided I would get a solid resin handle to avoid that problem. I was a bit suspicious of this brush because of its low price, so I was really, really pleased when I received it and discovered that it was solidly built, with bristles superior to the brush I had had before. I can now whip up lather in my shaving scuttle that has twice the oomph of what I was able to get with the other brush. In a couple of months, I have lost one---one---bristle. The bristles are soft, but with plenty of body. The knot is well-formed. I'm anticipating years of use out of this. The only thing I wasn't thrilled with was the flimsy little plastic stand that ships with the brush. Luckily, the handle fits nicely in my Perfecto stainless brush and razor rack. You can't go wrong with this one!

I did some research on this and similar brushes before making this purchase. The quality of this brush is excellent. It comes with a holder with the brush hanging downwards to enable the brush to air dry. There is NO ODOR nor was there out of the box which many reviews mentioned with the badger brushes. Enables easy lathering. Happy purchase. thank you!

This is a great deal on a Best Badger quality brush. The brush has stayed full and I have seen little or no loss of bristles. I retired both a genuine and pure badger brush recently and replaced with this. Having tried at least these grades, I can say a pure badger has it's good points, but this one is a step up in fullness that works up a great lather with minimal soap. The bristles are a bit more firm and noticeably in comparison to a best or pure, but it feels great on the face and the overall construction of the brush appears good. Combine this with a small steel bowl elsewhere to be found on this site and you will look forward to shaving.

Handle is a bit heavy, which isn't a problem til you put it on the provided stand and it falls back and down.

First off, I got this with the shaving cream and aftershave and I love it. It's exactly what I was hoping for. The brush works great, easy to handle, lathers up the shaving cream very nicely, the stand works great for me, top notch. The shaving cream itself is great and it looks like it'll last a long time, it doesn't take much to cover your jaw/neck, it smells nice, works great. The aftershave is aftershave and does what you would expect. Smells nice as well. Now... for the personal part. I got this stuff because the regular shaving cans in grocery stores weren't working out for me anymore. I am disabled and needed a new and easier way to do this kind of shaving. I've been using electric razors for a while, but it's always pretty uneven, shards of hair go flying into my eyes (yes, when it hits your eye, they are then considered shards). These products made this part of my life surprisingly a whole lot easier. There's usually some hiccup when I try new things out but not here, they just work like they would with anyone else and I'm really happy. I also feel super manly using it and enjoy shaving again. Definitely recommend.

Had this nearly over years now and still not a single bristle has come out, it’s as good as new. The best brush by far, strong and soft.

This is an outstanding product! I was using a Wilkinson brush with synthetic hair. This brush is lightyears ahead in feel and ability to create soap lather. It feels softer and does not shed hair. For the price it's worth buying. Transform your wet shave experience.

Just received my brush and am very impressed with it. It works up a lather way better than the Wilkinson Sword brush I bought a few months ago to try. Am using the Wilkinson Sword shaving soap as well and the lather is night and day thicker using the new brush. I found the bristles with the old brush way too soft and the new one is way stiffer which I really like. Great product at a very competitive price point.

This item arrived quickly considering the retail business at the present time. I am new to this so I have no idea what is good or bad. It seems well made and worth the price. I did notice that after a several uses a few hairs straggle away from the core but I understand that's normal. It does whip up a lather (Proraso) fairly easily and is comfortable against the face. At this point I would buy it again. I would recommend it to a friend if I knew one that was willing to go this route. Good Luck.
