I have been in a wheelchair for 18 years. I was not informed about these grips when I first bought it! I was told to buy bicycle gloves to use on my push rims. But then I'd have to take them off to use the bathroom, wash dishes, etc. Because the rims are thin to grasp and slippery, I ended up pushing on the wheels themselves, which are dirty. Then I saw these online. They not only provide wonderful gripping for pushing, they provide protection for the walls and doorways. I no longer have silver marks everywhere.I have also used vinyl rim guards but they last only a couple years before they get loose and stretchy. I am hoping that these silicone ones will last longer.

These covers are perfect for what I need! They installed very easily and fit the 24” hand rims properly. They function well and make propelling easy! Definitely worth the purchase!

As for me, my space is limited. My Apt. is not at all handicap accessible, the bathroom door is narrow, with the push rim " pads" comfort for the everyday use is awesome, but I need now be a little more exacting to get through my narrow door! Very "rubbery" sticky and soft, durable and easy to affix. glad I finally got them.

Wonderful grips and holds tight on the rims .

These fit great and stay on tight. I've used them during basketball and other times where it should be expected to come loose, but it hasn't. It does collect dust, pet hair, and dirt very easily and it's hard to wipe off these things. It needs to be washed all the time, daily.

For cold weather it is nice & warm! For gripping, it is larger, rubber & therefore easier to grip & control my chair. I love this product that was recommended by my wheelchair mfgr. Thanks!😊

Very hard to get on but once on they work great.

We have 22" wheels and this was supposed to be for 24" wheels. With that we didn't expect it not fitting. It took me and my husband to stretch it all the way around and when we got it, it pulled back off.
