    Perfect for pellet smokers

Very useful for pellet grills/smokers when not enough smoke is produced on their own. You have to light it really well so that there is a flame. Filled to capacity, I get around 5 hours of thin blue smokeMy pellet grill has a PID controller, and temperatures are very stable, as such, it produces only very little smoke. The smoker tube is needed if I want to impart more flavor and also get a better smoke ring.

    "Better than a Traeger"? Hardly. But you still need this.

Someone said "Better than a Traeger" Hardly. I have a Camp Chef SmokePro pellet smoker/grill, which is similar to a Traeger and this is nothing like the technology employed in a Traeger. This device is not intended to provide heat, which is why I purchased one. It is meant to make smoke, and that's it and in some cases, that's all you want.  For example, if I want to smoke something like cheese, and yes, people smoke cheese, my Camp Chef is just too hot, even on the lowest setting. So pop this smoker tube into the smoker and just leave the Camp Chef off. On the other end of the spectrum once a pellet smoker is running at 350 degrees or higher it's all it can do to stay hot, so the pellets burn with very little smoke. If I'm cooking something at these higher temps I can now add the smoker tube to the smoker and let it provide the smoke that I want for taste.  Best of all because I have a pellet smoker I always have pellets around, and with this smoker tube you can burn whatever pellets you have handy to provide the heat and put a small amount of your more flavorful (expensive) pellets into this to supply the tasty smoke. Bottom line, you need this.

I only use charcoal because that's all a man BBQS. This Little Debbie turns my New Braunfels into a Traeger smoker I highly recommend it.
