I was looking for a matelasse’ bed cover in a summer weight but when I saw this with all the lovely detail and the pointed scallop edge, I had to try it. The size is way better than a quilt but not quite a bedspread size which works perfectly and gives the coverage I wanted for my bed. I like that I can tuck the pillows under it, old school style too. It is heavy and not too warm, so perfect for summer. But let me just say, it is better than any quilt I have ever had. Beautiful yes, but so soft. And reversible too! Nothing like the scratchy matelasse’ I thought I wanted. Completely Love this and highly recommend.

I purchased this spread to use for staging when I sold my home. The result was lovely. I continue to use it in my home. The neutral color works well with any room.

Beautiful, and excellent quality

This is a very beautiful coverlet, fits beautifully perfect weight and just looks great. Those are the pros. The con is that it was covered with loose threads. When I first took it out of the package there was a huge clump of loose threads that even included colored threads (???) that I had to cut off. Then I had to take embroidery scissors and go over the entire thing back and front and cut off loose threads everywhere. I am hoping that this is not going to cause problems down the road, that this is not going to start unraveling. I paid three times as much for this as is I normally pay for a coverlet. If it does happen down the road I’ll revisit my review in the meantime it’s truly beautiful. I would’ve given it five stars except for all the loose threads. I really don’t understand manufacturing and how it could have all the loose threads. That seems weird to me. Ok I just found more threads I attached a picture so you can see what I’m talking about I thought I got them all. I’m going to change it to three stars because this bothers me a lot. Update February 14, 2020: I have to come back and say this is truly the most beautiful bedspread it is washed wonderfully all the thread issues are gone I just love it just love it love it love it. Perfect weight looks gorgeous! I am very happy I bought it And I’m switching to five star without a doubt!

Beautiful. Great length (king quilt for a queen bed), beautiful stitch design. Is a tad heavy and slides off the bed if used as a footer blanket. The scalloped edge is such a beautiful look that elevates the room

Sooo beautiful! Great blanket for end of summer/fall. Color is nice and neutral. Pairs well with most colors. Light weight, yet warm enough for fall. I purchased a king to put on my queen bed. My is higher off the ground, so it fits well. Love the scallop-ish detail bordering the quilt and shams.

Ordered the dusty pink and was very disappointed as the color is not at all pink, and in a dim room, it is very drab and murky, so I returned it and ordered the standard cream white. which has yet to arrive so I hope I will like it better. The quilting is very small, but if you are careful about the colors, it is an OK coverlet for the money. I will live with it but am not thrilled.
