These things are the best, most mindlessly straightforward hangers I've come across. Truly easy to get your things put on the wall with security and confidence. There's a little bit of a learning curve necessary if you want your picture in a precise location, but it's effective and another excellent 3M product. If your walls are hard plastered, you might want to use a small mallet to seat these, but thumb pressure is effective on typical drywall. After we had our first floor repainted, and all the random holes, nail holes, screw holes, etc., patched, we rehung everything with these. Had to relocate just one of them, and it was not only easy to remove, the two holes left behind were miniscule. These things are a little pricey compared to "traditional" types, but these win easily. And the knockoffs are designed differently - their prongs are bent down from the top, while the original 3M versions are bent in from the sides, much more structurally robust. This is a significant detail. Stay with the originals!

These are awesome... I use them all the time now and skip the old school gear for hanging important frames. These are easier to work with and far more sturdy, holding the weight as claimed beautifully. No guessing needed.the stickers for lining things up don't really work great, but measuring techniques are spot on.

Where have these been all my life?!? These are amazing - who knew hanging pictures could be so easy and painless? I had been putting off the dreaded "family photo gallery wall" for years ... with 3M's awesome little Claw Drywall picture hangers, I finally was able to knock it out easy peasy and started looking for other things to hang around my house that I'd been putting off! These hold all of it - I've used the 15 lb and 25 lb versions and they're both great. Saving the 45 lb for something really big. And they're easy to replace if you get something off - just pull them out and replace where you want them. Minor holes remain that are easy to cover if needed - nothing like the giant, wall destroying holes left by typical drywall anchors with screws that I used to use!

I was a bit skeptical about how well this hook would work in drywall, but I had a mirror that I wanted to hang and the studs were not in the correct place so I decided to give it a try. Oh my goodness! It does work! Affixes easily to drywall (though I did have to gentle tap it in with a hammer as I didn't have the necessary strength to just push it in). The hook really "took hold" firmly. I have a 50 lb mirror and the hook holds it easily -- no shifting or pulling from the wall. So much easier than using anchors and definitely eliminates the wall damage caused by anchors. Super easy with great results and at a reasonable price. Couldn't ask for more. Highly recommend!!!

Makes hanging framed items and wall art easy. It will leave two prong holes in your drywall that are visible when you remove the hook. But it is great for hanging heavier items.

Alright, let's get real about the 3M CLAW 15 lb. Drywall Picture Hanger. For what it is, it's actually pretty decent. I needed to hang a few lightweight framed prints in my guest bedroom and didn't want to deal with finding studs or making big holes. The CLAW seemed like a good solution, and for the most part, it delivered. Installation was indeed simple. You just position it and push firmly. It does leave a few small indentations in the drywall, so you wouldn't want to reposition it multiple times in the same spot. It felt surprisingly secure once in. I hung a couple of frames that were probably around 5-7 lbs each, and they've been up for a few weeks now with no signs of budging. The "15 lb" rating feels a little optimistic. I wouldn't trust it with anything genuinely heavy or valuable. For lightweight decor, though, it's a convenient and relatively damage-free way to hang things. It definitely beats using nails for smaller items where you don't need the ultimate strength. Overall, a solid 5 stars. It does exactly what it claims for lighter items and is incredibly easy to use. Just don't expect it to perform miracles with heavier artwork. It's a good solution for specific needs, but not a one-size-fits-all hanging option.

I don't normally rave about picture hangers, but these things are great. Solid as all getout, super easy to place. Just press into the wall and you're done. No big holes, no plaster dust, no problem. If I had any gripe at all, it gets hard on the thumbs. I find it useful to have a hammer on hand, not to nail in the hangers, because they absolutely don't need that, but because it gives my hands a break to have something solid to apply pressure with. I just really wish the packs were bigger, the bang for the buck isn't all that great.

Really easy to use and strong. Great for holding pictures up and handled a heavy framed photo with ease. Can be removed easily and only leaves two small holes that is smaller then that left by other produce and drywall fixings.
