I was worried this would be some knockoff charger from China or some crap like that, only because sooo many products are shady like that. Nothing I can see would give me any indication this is not a genuine DELL product, and it functions perfectly. Only minus I could even remotely see with this product is that the cord going to the inverter (the block part) is a little shorter. Instead of 6 feet, it's only 4 feet long. The inverter to laptop cord is the same length though, so no problems that I couldn't solve by using the old cord. If I ever need another charger for my Dell Inspiron 15 7579, I'll be buying this product again.

Perfect cord to travel and have in alternative work stations. Works just as the OEM charging cord does. Will order another as my battery is weak.

The charger does charge the computer. However, when it is plugged in the mouse jumps across the screen when the trackpad is clicked to select something. The computer operates fine when this charger is unplugged or when the charger that came with the computer is plugged in.

It works, it charges my laptop BUT, I bought it NEW, there were a few cuts through the cable connecting to the laptop. The wires inside are visible, had to put tape around just in case it rips more.

This adapter is a Dell original and for the price was a good deal. I bounce between two houses and rather than unplugging it and taking it with me I just plug my computer in and I'm all set to go.

Adapter fits well for 3527 Inspiron but power cord package is unsealed,so opt this if only you're looking for adapter from dell.

Not a year has gone, but the charger stopped working. since last two months it was not working. just when charger has the mood it worked for 3-4 times at most. and today,by my luck it was working, burning smell came, and when I noticed it started smoking. pathetic product. although the charger has One year warranty, but don't know where to contact. total waste of money. I would have given "0" star if the option is given. :(

Was sceptical while ordering as my previous experience in buying adapters has been bad. This one came in original Dell packaging, and worked as expected.
