Can only the frame be purchased separately? One of the legs screw area broke when we tried to move awkwardly.

You would do better asking for a refund. This is a problem that many, including me, have had with this table. Trying to move it results in the legs collapsing because of cheap materials, specifically the particle board.

Can the lift top be installed to go in the other direction.

I turned the top around for my wife. it’s a pain but just measure the distance from the end to the anchor points. take the top back off the bracket and when you turn the lift around be sure to mark all your drill points and the connection to the table top and lift bracket. the lift arm will want to tip off the rail when you’re installing it in the opposite direction so be ready to secure or support it while screwing it back in and be careful of your drill depth as you can punch right through the walls with the mildest pressure on on your gun. it takes forever and I about threw my drll across the house but it can be done.
