Review: Failed after 15 months - Worked fine for 15 months then totally failed; replaced batteries and tried the 9v backup to no avail. To top it off, this happened while we were on vacation and our dogsitter was locked out of the house- HUGE headache as it failed in the locked position and there was no way to open the door from the outside. It is sheltered from the elements and used less than once a week (not our primary entrance) so no reason for it to go bad other than a quality issue. We'll be contacting Yale customer support, but this is completely unacceptable. We went with Yale over an obscure "desertcart-only" brand to avoid this from happening so we are extremely disappointed. Side note- We wanted a keyless option to keep things simple, but after this experience I absolutely do not recommend you use this product if it's your only point of entry (apartments, etc).
