Works fine. See blue masking tape over opening.
Itโs pretty good. Plastic piece that holds the opening of how much fish food can be dropped broke. Really tiny 2 plastic piece on each bottom cover. Other than that it works fine. I used tape to cover the parts to allow food to come out.

It kept my fish's fed...
I used it for a 4-day trip, there was still food left in it, as planned. There was however an overspill of food on the side of the tank that would drop out after its rotation should have allowed the food to fall, wouldn't have been an issue except for I had to have the feeder at such an angle because of the lid on the fish tank that had it been completely over the water there would have not had been any mess. On the upside, you're able to position it in almost any position, which definitely came in handy for the small space I needed it to fit in. It's quiet, has I believe three or four different timers, every 6 hours every 12 hours every 18 hours or every 24 hours. The one thing that I did read and the instructions is it's not really meant for flake food, it's more design for pellets. I had a combination going and that seemed to work. The opening to release the food can be placed into multiple variations of an opening, could have a little teeny crack or you can have it wide open. Installation was easy enough, getting the food into the container and ceiling it back up easy enough, it was packaged well when it arrived. It arrived on time. Would I use it everyday as a feeder, sure, but I'd still check on it every few days. As far as I'm aware it's battery life is good, but I only ran it for 4 days, and apparently it can go weeks or more depending on how often you have it set to go off. If you're just going to be gone a few days a week at most I would trust it, any longer than that your food should actually run out but also I don't know if it wouldn't get clogged -depending on how big you had the opening to release the food.

Works OK but is pretty big and bulky.
Went away on vacation and decided to give one of these fish feeders a try. I have both pellet and flake food and tried this with both types. For pellet food it works really well, and is pretty consistent in terms of dispensing the food. Flakes on the other hand do not work as well, as they tend to stick to the inside of the "barrel" and sometimes dispense a lot and other times dispense very little. However, if you want to make sure all of your fishy friends survive during your vacation to Disney, this will definitely do the trick. For a longer term solution, I'm not sure I would recommend it, due to the consistency, but mainly due to the size and look of the thing. I sort of thought I would keep the dispenser on my fish tank all of the time, but it is very big and bulky and just doesn't look good. If you have a top cabinet on your tank that will hide this, that would be the best scenario. Otherwise, I'm hoping someone releases a smaller, more compact version in the future.

Set it and Forget it!
Going on a long road trip and needed a good solution to keep our fish fed while we are gone...and not make our son come over every day! This little gadget works great! I have flakes in it, they are smaller kinda crushed up flakes, not the big fat ones so they work great. Super easy to program, we feed once a day, so hit the 24hr button to make it work and check how much comes out and adjust opening if needed. Also super handy that the base rotates to help get the opening into any position needed. I have a cover on my tank and only one side has an opening where the heater sits. I was able to mount on the rim of the tank and crank the base over just enough so the food falls in the available opening which wasn't a lot. Works perfect! Trip or not, this thing is feeding the fish from now on!

Works well
Easy to program & adjust the amount it dispenses. Tip- if it doesnโt fit on the rim of your aquarium, take out the adjustment piece in the middle & the screws completely

Fishy food feeder feeds too much
Product is simple enough to use and so far and I would recommend it but as far as for my needs it's not great. I use micropellets for my fancy guppies and it distributes way way too much food for six of them. I can block off part of the feeding hole with tape or glue or go one step further and just drill my own tiny feeding hole in the plastic so its not hard to fix this but it should have an alternative feeding slot size for micro feeding. My picture shows minimum amount of micro pellet food it can distribute which is too much for my needs and also a picture of my modified feeding hole size.. I'm not sure about the battery life and longevity of the product

Great Vacation Feeder
Bought for a 2 week vacation and it worked flawlessly. Put it on the 24hr setting and it fed at the same time every day. I feed my guppies micro pellets so I used tape to narrow the opening some more after test runs fed a little too much. Happy with the purchase.
