If you have one of those clunky, framed boards you'll especially love how sleek and all matchy-matchy this set is.I got the plain one. Well packaged and everything snuggled into cut-outs in a thick foam. Immediately stuck to the fridge - every inch. Magnets are bright and cute. Pens are slimmer than the usual magic marker ones. Have a little magnet that sticks great, a foam eraser on each and fine point that was exciting because those bigger markers you commonly find always get mushy or take up a lot of room when you write with them. The little 50's mint green foam eraser has no magnet but it works great, too. The surface is mirror smooth, which I also like a lot. Other boards I've had sometimes seem a bit...not-glossy... ( yeah I know its not a word...) causing the marker to remove less and less, or it rubs down and gets to be a chore to clean. Or they have buckling or ridges or get bowed. This is like writing on ice.Buying a few more as gifts..one of those little things that makes life easier and this is packaged nicely. I love that all pens have their own erase but you also get a separate eraser! All items have magnets. The pens are vibrant and work better if you have them upside-down in my opinion.
