The media could not be loaded.  I absolutely love my Star Trek Universe: Original Series 21" U.S.S. Enterprise Ship! It's the perfect addition to my office alongside my commercial airlines model. The scale is spot on, making it a stunning display piece. Every time I glance at it, it takes me back to the nostalgic days of watching the STAR TREK TV series as a kid.This is actually my third model purchase, and finally, I've found one worth keeping. Unlike the previous two, this one boasts excellent quality, from the intricate details to the captivating lights and sounds. The only minor downside is the stand, which could be a bit sturdier, but it's a small price to pay for such a fantastic replica.If you're a Star Trek fan or just appreciate quality collectibles, don't hesitate any longer. "Live Long and Prosper" by adding this gem to your collection—it's truly worth it!

I've been wanting a cool Enterprise model for my toy collection. I usually never take anything out of the box (I know, weird...but ever since I saw the Jurassic Park T-Rex go for $5K and then having the Star Wars Queen Amidala Ship, and Avatar toys be worth a lot when in the box, I thought I learned my lesson, but I took it out of the box! It looked so cool, I decided to display it outside the box. Sturdy model, larger than I thought it would be. The sounds are cool, too. A few flaws on the plastic, but nothing crazy.It's a nice Enterprise model for sure!ONLY Con: the stand is a bit flimsy, but I may hang this from the ceiling anyway.No regrets for $40.00!

I admit it. I am a Trekkie. And a Trekker. Watching the original series on TV as a child made me a lifelong fan of not only Star Trek but everything sci-fi. I also admit to having possessed collectibles over the years, although multiple moves and downsizing has reduced my collection to only a couple of toys. I was reading about this person in Tacoma WA who left a large collection in his estate, and that got me thinking. Why have I never had a model of the original starship Enterprise NCC-1701? So, I started looking.I thought there might be a number of examples of this iconic ship, but found only a couple of NCC-1701. None of which matched the large size of this plastic model. The details are very good. The stand is OK, requiring some care in putting the pieces together and placement, but workable. The colored lights and recorded sounds are fun and engaging. And, again… the size! This thing is really 21”! The price point is perfect for a model of this size, even at full retail.As some other reviewers have indicated: “What are you waiting for? If you are a Star Trek fan… buy this model today!” You will not be unhappy.

I love the model and it has a number of nice features. It's sturdy enough and it's a pleasure to look at. It sits on my bar area and it's definitely enjoyable. The sound effects are good.The only single issue is that the light and other features do not stay on. You turn the lights on and they automatically go off after 30 seconds. I would have thought they would stay on until turned off. That's why this is 4 stars versus 5.

The TV Enterprise didn't have lights at the rear of the anti-matter nacelles.It didn't have bright yellow lights at the front of them.Other than that, this is a great model and looks great on display.No assembly, no sweat.

I saw a review of this enterprise and I have other models of this manufacturer that were a little too much toy and not accurate models. However this one is the best on I've seen. The colors are a very close match to the filming model in the Smithsonian kudos there, the decals are on the model with very accurate registry not a stick on vinyl tag. The sounds are very nice. I would have love to see a more accurate buzzard collectors (the round thing in front of the engines) they do light up but I was hoping for a transparent red. Overall a vey nice model. The stand also is very good allowing for several angles to be adjusted for display.

There are more accurate, better made versions, but they cost a lot more.This is a pretty good replica for the money.Stand is flimsy. Wish the middle part of the ship windows lit up. Fun display for TOS fans.

Every Star Trek fan should have, AT LEAST one! Very well put together, easy to assemble and looks great in my office! Thank you!

Whoever is in charge of the product does not take care of them mine came missing parts and the replacement came to me like it was dragged down the sidewalk with scrapes all over it… Lucky for me the combination of both shipments made my one work fine but I had to do all the work taking it apart to fix it… In the end I really love it though. Be careful not to pay too much it's only a $50 product. So if you're Asked to pay a high price they're just cheating you. But if you get one for a fair price I think you'll like it

Good lights and sound, pretty good rendition of the original design masterpiece

This is a really well made toy! It uses high quality ABS plastic and feels really good in hand. The painted areas, though minimal, are done very precise with no smudges or over spray. The electronic lights and sounds work great! The LEDs are nice and bright, yet there is very minimal light bleed. The speaker is loud and clear with no distortion.This Enterprise really looks and feels better made than any of the Trek ships from Diamond Select Toys. I wish Playmates would make many other ships to this same or better standard.I still have my original Playmates version that came out in1995, and can easily say that this is a wonderful update!
