Very pretty hanging randomly and glittering sunlight sparkles along the fence/plants as they swirl in my backyard. They do not disturb the smaller birds visiting my feeders but do appear to help in keeping the hawks away; I've lost too many turtle doves to hawks in the past.

These are working great for detouring the woodpeckers from pecking my metal screens for my attic ventilation out. Since I had my son hang these from the second story eaves, the woodpeckers have not bothered my house!

I am pleasantly surprised by this product. It is as pictured, although I thought the spirals was going to be heavier. The way in which I needed to hang them took a little manipulation to secure on the ceiling. Nevertheless, it works very well. I haven't had any more birds sitting in that area since I installed them. They look as you would imagine- but for me it was worth it not having clean up the bird droppings in front of my door.

They do the job birds haven’t touched my flowers since I put them up. Just keep in mind the string they come with is short and tore pretty quickly, so I had to use my own. Not bad overall, just wish the string was better quality.

They work well but they don’t survive an Ohio winter.

Birds love the decorations! I think they look nice too. Doesn't work on Mourning Doves!

Use a boat house to distract birds

We had birds building a nest right in our doorway. What a nightmare with the mess they make. We hung a few of these around the patio area and it keeps them away. They decided to make a nest not far away by the garage and that is perfect.

Credit where credit is due, these have significantly reduced the number of birds floating around our outdoor seating area, but hasn't eradicated them completely. It's all about positioning. positioning. positioning. Most important thing to remember about these is that if they're not hitting direct sunlight to 'glint' they don't tend to really bother the birds. I've noticed that if I strategically hang enough of these to catch the sun most of the morning and afternoon, I've probably reduced the number of birds by 80%. But there is a certain time in the morning when these don't grab the sun, and I noticed birds start to gather again. Will these reduced the number of birds? Yes. Will they stop birds all together? No. Understand that these are just reflective sticks designed to bother the birds, not some magic wand that will whisk all your birds away as soon as you hang it up, so be sure to keep your expectations in line with that. Definitely recommended these if you want to LOWER the number of birds around.

We had cockatoos standing on branches, directly next to these things, whilst they ate mangoes. They were not in the least bit deterred by this deterrence.

Tryed this product as multiple swallow's nesting around house. Definitely spooks birds and they have not rebuilt nest. Definitely worth a try.
