Quality mattress
The twin size king coil air mattress is great. It inflates and deflates quickly. As per the instructions it had to be re-inflated a little after 24 hours as the air filled out all of the space within the mattress. Very comfortable, using it to save on a/c cost by sleeping in the cool basement when the main floor heats up in the summer.

Luxury in a box — survived the in-law room takeover
I bought this King Koil air mattress for a visit from my in-laws, and as usually happens with family visits, the master suite was lovingly confiscated. I ended up sleeping on this myself, so I can honestly say it was put to the test. It was easy to set up, inflated quickly, and felt much more substantial than a typical air mattress. What impressed me most was the firmness. It gave good support and did not feel flimsy or like I was slowly sinking toward the floor during the night. For something that comes out of a bag/box, it really does feel surprisingly comfortable and elevated. It made the temporary sleeping arrangement feel much less like a sacrifice and much more manageable. Overall, this is a great option for guests, family visits, or any time your own bedroom gets taken over. I would definitely recommend it.

Excellent comfort, no-leaking, super fast inflation
Fantastic! Very comfortable, hold its air for days before needing to be topped off, and it inflates amazingly fast. I highly suggest getting a nice topper so it will feel more like a bed, as all inflatable mattresses have that different feel and the 2 or 3 inch think fluffy topper will be something you won't regret. The only negative thing, and it is not a big deal, is the raised artificial pillow at the very end of one side. It would be good enough to use as a low pillow in a pinch, and otherwise serves as a sort of mini-headboard to keep your actual pillow from sliding off the end. So it is not a bad thing that raised part is there. But it does feel off underneath an actual pillow, raises as a bump about half the width of a standard pillow so it does raise you head a bit too much and you will find you are more comfortable simply sliding down so you are not using any of that raised part. That just costs you a few inches of headroom, maybe 6 or 8 inches. No big deal though unless you are a tall person who needs every inch of the bed, because sliding down to avoid that hump will make your feet stick off the end of the bed if you are over 6 feet tall I suppose. But if that isn't you have no worries, this bed will fit you nicely, raised hump and all, as a queen size works for most people I assume. I am 5' 6" and had no problem sliding down to be below that little top hump, no problem. Anyway the bed is SO comfortable, with a good thick fluffy topper, you will find yourself thinking why don't you just get rid of your mattress bed and sleep on this, it is that comfy. And the quality is top rate. Super fast inflation, no leaking out air every night, and packs up into its carrying bag, plus the cord stows away into its own compartment inside the bed with a little door. And it is nice and HIGH so you don't fell like you are sleeping on the floor.

For Home Use Only — NOT FOR CAMPING
The mattress was purchased with the intent to use for tent camping. King Koil advertises comfort and boasts of super-quick inflation. In an air mattress, who DOESN'T want those qualities? Compared to others I had been shopping, it looked like a very good choice. To be sure my inverter was capable of running the pump, I asked customer service about the wattage and was told that it ran 240 watts. My inverter runs 300, which should have been ample power to inflate the mattress, so I packed the unopened box in with my camping gear. BIG MISTAKE. The day I received the package I should have opened it and tested it right on the spot, but I was confident that there would be no problem and going through the hassle of moving the living room furniture to make room to inflate a mattress just seemed like a waste of time so I waited until I got a chance to go camping, which, unfortunately, was not until the next month. The mattress pulled so much power to inflate that it blew my inverter! My friend brought his inverter over to help and it blew too! I emailed King Koil to ask what type of power source I would need and their reply was FOR HOME USE ONLY. Realizing that this was not going to work, again, I contacted King Koil. I explained why it was not going to work for me, that it was still new, and I wanted to return it. I got a reply with an apology for the inconvenience, and a request for the order number. The mattress was back in the box, all taped up and ready to send back. I sent the requested order number and expected to receive instructions on where to return it but got no response. So, I called. When I called King Koil customer service, I got a terrible connection and someone with such a thick accent I could barely understand him. In essence, I was told there was nothing he could do. If I wanted to return the mattress, I had to do it through Amazon as King Koil DOESN’T ACCEPT RETURNS. Amazon has a strict 30-day return policy, which I was unaware of because, up until now, I've never had to return anything. I KNOW NOW! (and so should you, if you order anything through them) I had the mattress longer than 30 days only because I hadn’t had a chance to use it. It took forever to get through to a live person but the associate I got was very nice. He was able to grant a “return extension” so I could send it back, but was unable to refund me the entire amount I paid! The mattress is in the original packaging, all tags intact and original shipping box. It has only been out of the box long enough to find out I couldn’t even air it up. It is brand new, and as such, I feel I should have been refunded the entire amount I was charged. Before I decided to purchase this mattress I read the reviews and was impressed at how many mentioned excellent and efficient customer service. DON’T BELIEVE IT. As to the quality of the mattress, I can't speak to that because I have no idea. UPDATE: Amazon was willing to refund me only a portion of the cost I paid and claimed they would send UPS to the house to pick up the package within the next 2 days. I put the package outside every day for 5 days and nobody showed up to pick it up. In the meantime, King Koil contacted me regarding the poor review. They claimed they were in the process of updating their product information to reflect the inflation requirements more clearly. I was told to keep the mattress with their sincere apologies for all the inconvenience. Their only request was that I amend my review to reflect a more positive rating. I am doing so at this time.

The Worst Bed EVER!!!! BEST AFTER SERVICE EVER!!!!!
I had a very bad experience with my King Koil Bed but when I contacted them, they went way out of their way to make me happy. They sent me a brand new bed in no time at all. I didn’t have to go the trouble of sending the old leaky one back either. They were super apologetic and after a year of replacement they called me to see how my bed is. I used it a few times since the trail ride and it was just fine. I used it for guests to sleep on. There were no complaints. I will be doing the same trail ride again at the end of the month. I am pretty sure that I won’t have the same problems as what I had last year. I would recommend King Koil for their super customer service. The beds are very very comfortable and if there is a problem contact them and they will most definitely take care of ur complaints pronto. I am thinking that the customer service is more important than the product. So if ur looking for a very comfy air bed that’s easy to climb in and out of, give them a try. I highly recommend King Koil. They treated me like roayalty. This had to be the worst purchase that I have ever made through Amazon. I am so disappointed. I replaced a queen size airbed to use in my tent when I went on my over night trail rides. My queen size was excellent but it took up too much room so I was delighted when this thing was delivered. I did everything that the instructions told me to do, I filled it, which was super slick. I left it up for a couple of days like they suggested so it could stretch. They said that it would go a bit soft, which it did. I did not lay on it at all, just left it and then deflated it and packed it away for my week long trail ride and camp out. I packed it in my vehicle and was super excited to get it out of the bag and filled it up while in my tent. I used an extension cord and my inverter. It filled beautifully. I put a foam pad and a huge and thick comforter under it because of previous experiences with airbeds in tents. The air in the bed gets extremely cold if you don't put it on top of something to insulate it against the cold ground. I put a queen size fitted sheet on it and then my feather down sleeping bag covering myself with a feather comforter. It was so comfortable, until the morning. It had gone very soft. No problem, the instructions said that this might happen. I accepted it. As the week wore on, this bed got worse and worse. I had to fill it twice, once in the day and then before I went to bed, it was still very very soft in the morning. I wasn't getting any sleep at all and I was extremely stiff from the way that it had me encapsulated. I felt like a sausage in a bun. The very last night and the 6th night of my ride, was just the worst. I hadn't been able to sleep on this horrid thing, it was getting worse and worse. I needed my sleep (riding horses for 8 hours a day). Just before I went to bed, I filled it AGAIN.. it was firm and very comfy. At 3 am, my feet were way up in the air and my head was on the ground. It had lost pretty much all of its air. I was in tears, I gathered up all of my blankets and went to my SUV to see if I could get some sleep. No good, it was totally against the reason I am in a tent. It was so uncomfortable, andI need to see and hear the horses through the night. Back to the tent I went, pushed the totally deflated KING KOIL MATTRESS to the side and slept on top of the foam and comforters. I finally got some sleep. I am so frustrated!!! I want my money back and I never want to see this thing again.. I did my research.. this was supposed to be just awesome.. well, its total junk and I am now going to contact the company.. If I could give it no stars, I would.. I am so tired.. and my vacation/trail ride was ruined

WARNING: Contains Noxious Chemical Odor & Compressor has High Pitch Whine
Buyer beware. This product contains noxious chemicals that are damaging to your health and will have lasting effects on the quality of your homes environment. I purchased this King Koil 16" queen air mattress as a means of having my parents stay over. I read that it is ideal to have it blown up and left out over a number of hours 1) So as to let the bed best maintain its shape and 2) to let it air out as it may come with an unpleasant scent. My unboxing started off with opening the well designed box in my living room, excited to test out my new air mattress. I took off the plastic wrapping, and then unfolded the bed. Suddenly an overpowering chemical odor filled my room. I felt the need to bring the bed into my office and close the door so that the odor wouldn't fill the whole house. At this point, I had a painful headache suddenly erupt. I opened both of my windows and turned on the fan. At first I figured the scent would be akin to the foam mattress I had purchased years ago, and that the scent would quickly dissipate. I proceeded to follow the instructions to plug in the mattress and let it inflate. What followed what could best be described as a compressor that was optimized for efficiency but did not even in the slightest consider user experience. The fan was extremely efficient and filled the bed within 2 minutes. However, it was an extremely high pitch whine that was painful to be next to. I had to leave the room. I realized at this point the odor had filled the house. I proceeded to open up all of my houses windows and turned on all of the fans. When I saw the bed was nearly full, I re-entered my office and turned off the compressor. I decided to follow the instructions and let it sit for 8-12 hours over night while I left one of the office's windows open and fan on. I turned off the fans and closed the windows to the rest of the house a few hours later before bed. My headache didn't go away that night. The next morning I woke up with an excruciating headache. The chemical odor was still extremely strong in my house. I opened all the windows and turned on all the fans again. When I opened the door to my office I was overpowered by the chemical smell, despite the fan and window being open all night. I immediately deflated the air mattress, being sure to close my office door behind me so as to contain the odor, and packed the mattress into its travel bag attempting to get rid of the odor. At this time, the mattress had a much fainter odor. The odor in the office, however, remained very powerful. I opened my second office window & let the office air out over the entire day. By the end of the day, after having all windows open and fans on, the odor was only faint in certain parts of the house but remained strong in my office. That night, with the odor still very strong in the office, I noticed that there was a fine layer of black particles covering many surfaces. Upon reflection, I inevitably inhaled whatever this was & it is likely what caused my headaches. I decided to sweep, dust, and deep clean the office. This significantly helped remove the odor - however, it was still present. I left the window open and fan on over night. The next morning I was no longer having headaches and the scent was no longer in any part of the house other than the office, where it was still noticeably present but no longer overwhelming. Unfortunately, I had to work in this environment. I left the windows open and fan on all day. It was at this point that I decided that I couldn't in good conscious have my parents sleep on this mattress. I set it up through Amazon to return it the next day. By the next morning the odor no longer was noticeable in my office. On the other hand, I am questioning what potential long term effects this experience could have on my body. The King Koil Air Mattress is made of PVC. PVC is made with a number of chemicals that are released throughout its lifespan. This includes chemicals such as Phthalates to help soften the PVC. According to the National Institute of Health "Phthalates are a series of widely used chemicals that demonstrate to be endocrine disruptors and are detrimental to human health. Phthalates can be found in most products that have contact with plastics during producing, packaging, or delivering. Despite the short half-lives in tissues, chronic exposure to phthalates will adversely influence the endocrine system and functioning of multiple organs, which has negative long-term impacts on the success of pregnancy, child growth and development, and reproductive systems in both young children and adolescents." Wang Y, Qian H. Phthalates and Their Impacts on Human Health. Healthcare (Basel). 2021 May 18;9(5):603. doi: 10.3390/healthcare9050603. PMID: 34069956; PMCID: PMC8157593. It is truly a crime against humanity that a product made of such hazardous material could be sold to people at all, let alone in the name of profit. It's extremely concerning that at the time of writing this was one of the highest rated mattresses on Amazon. On the other hand, there are other air mattresses out there that use thermal plastics (TPU), are Phthalate free, are the same price, and will inevitably be a much more worthwhile investment. Please take the time to seek these out rather than purchasing this mattress. Bottom line: For the health of yourself and your family - do not buy this mattress.

Best luxury mattress for best bang of your buck
I’d buy this mattress again. It’s the best bed I’ve ever slept on and it definitely relieved my back. I can sleep comfortably either on my back or on my side and when I play video games on my bed, I can lay uncomfortably without having some bad joint pains. The bed is awesome and for the best bang of the book it’s not bad. It’s really solid for what it is and you know I should’ve went through the warranty, but I didn’t for this bed, but you know if I had this bed warranty through the company of King coil I’d definitely go for it just in case and the fact being in the air mattress, it’s it can puncture can break but the warranty is really really good for whenever the bed goes bad or if it has a defect. The luxury feeling of sleeping in the Bellagio in Vegas, it gave me that feeling. The ease ability of use on inflating and deflating the bed even the dummy can do it. It’s that easy. And the retention on this bed is awesome. Like the last time I refilled the bed with air is like every once in a month I wait next month. I refill the mattress with air and it will hold up for a long time. The firmness is great. It supports pretty much all my lower back and neck even where all my joints are hurting it supports it and I can sleep like I’m on the cloud that’s how good it is and I can sleep in this bed pretty much all day because it feels amazing. The thickness is perfect. It’s not too bulky. It’s slim and also very thick on within the middle of the mattress. The sides is thick, but it’s not bulging to where you’re not tripping on anything so it’s perfect all around for my room set up.

Really excellent mattress!!!
I have used many different brands of air mattresses, usually the budget type that have fallen short for one reason or another. After my last mattress developed a seam leak, I decided I was going to spend the extra money and get something of the highest quality. This King Koil mattress is the most comfortable air mattress I have ever used. I am sleeping much better because of the support from the air coils. You can just tell that this is higher quality than most, as soon as it is inflated. The pump is easy to use, powerful, and inflates the mattress quickly. I like how there are two knobs, one for inflation and one for deflation - which allows you to adjust the firmness precisely to your liking. The full size is perfect for one person; it gives you some room to move and takes up less space than a queen. I like the look of the black sides and tan top, though I am using sheets and blankets to cover it. It just speaks quality from every angle. I must say, when I received the first mattress, I was a bit disappointed because there was an issue with air leaking - there is always that chance with any air mattress; however, when I contacted customer service, they were quick to ship me a replacement mattress, and the second one is perfect - like the quality I expected. This is totally worth paying the extra money for the quality you get. Hands down the best air mattress I have ever owned.

Tried to Inflate-SHORT CIRCUIT
Upon receipt, we tried to inflate the King Koil Twin Air Mattress with Built in Pump, but the internal pump starting smoking as it appeared the motor short circuited and would not inflate. We double checked the wall plug and the wall plug had no issues so it was clear the King Koil was defective.

Not for European outlets
Not for European outlets! Soooo, pretty much useless. Very annoying. I had an adapter, but apparently not the correct type and the motor died. Money out the window.

Great value, and durability. Comfortable. Effortless to deflate and inflate. Love it!
Great value, very comfortable! Effortless to inflate and deflate - a very nice surprise. Slept on it for four months - very happy with it. Much more comfortable and user friendly than I imagined it would be. Excellent quality in every way. I expect it to last a long time. I have used other air mattresses - hated them, they were so cheap that they started leaking after about 5 weeks.

Excelente
El mejor de todos los colchones, es más alto y queda muy bien inflado. Hace un poco más de ruido que otra marcas, pero tarda menos en inflar
