**Q: Label on the panel says stab-lok cat. no. 400. the breakers look like the one you have pictured. just wanted to make sure?**
A: Yes,  I believe this breaker Will fit

**Q: How recent are these breakers? - i have read that these breakers can be dangerous**
A: I have purchased and used the federal breakers and they work like all over-current devices.  However, Federal Panels and the breakers have a history of failing and causing fires.  For more information on the Federal Pacific Panels go to "www.ismypanelsafe.com/fpe.aspx".  The reality is, if you have a Federal panel there is only two options; 1. use Federal Breakers designed to be used with that panel or upgrade to a newer panel system.  Personally if you can afford it "UPGRADE"!
