Sturdy but hard to adjust.
Good sprinkler over all but hard to adjust once it gets wet. Surfaces are slick with nothing to grab onto. This is second I have purchased and the seem very sturdy.

Arrived mis-assembled, but otherwise solid.
Was looking for a quality impulse sprinkler, preferrably built in the USA. This one was made in Taiwan, but seems to be of pretty good quality. The base is heavy enough to prevent the sprinkler from moving. You have to screw the sprinkler to the base when it arrives, but this is simple enough. The issue I had was that the sprinkler head was mis-assembled. The steel trip lever that hangs down and trips the sprinkler to reverse direction was stuck in the center of one of the arc clips. This effectively limited the sprinkler to a very narrow arc (the small distance side-to-side inside the arc clip). This sholud not be like this. The trip lever should not be within an arc clip, but between the two arc clips. I had to bend one side of the arc clip down to free the trip lever, and had to push hard enough that I was worried about breaking something on the sprinkler mechanism. This problem may not be evident to everyone and may cause quite a bit of frustration if you were not able to free the trip lever. Dramm should make certain that these are assembled more carefully. As far as long term durability, I'll have to report back. My last impulse sprinkler lost an argument with a Honda lawnmower. I don't imagine that this one would have fared any better.

Needs to be staked down with a screw driver.
I gave it 4's as it needs to have a heavier base. ALSO, they could add a spike for staking down the base.

Sprinkler works great but occassionally dirt builds up near base which makes it a little hard to rotate the head. Manually turning back a forth a few times normally gets it going again. I leave it out in yard 24/7 even when not being used which may add to this issue. Finish is holding up great and range on this sprinkler is excellent.

Alas, performance is degrading
I was pretty excited when I first used this sprinkler. It was a substantial upgrade from how quickly the back and forth fan sprinklers failed.Unfortunately, I've had it a year now, and it frequently does not continue to rotate as it should, so without constant monitoring, all the watering ends up happening in one place. I had thought my hose was too long (100 ft), but reducing to a fifty ft hose has not improved the situation. Something interferes with the rotation. Sometimes you can find something that might be the obstacle, and performance improves temporarily, but it's never long before the problem recurs.I had high hopes.

Beast of a yard sprinkler
Base is nice, heavy, and well made. As others have stated on here, the sprinkler head was defective and doesn't move, right out of the box. However, I contacted Dramm directly and they sent me a new sprinkler head, free of charge, no questions asked. With the new brass sprinkler head, this is an absolute beast of a yard sprinkler. Puts out a ton of water and easily covers my entire yard. Quality item, and for once, something not made in China!! Would definitely buy again!

Very Good Sprinkler
It's good with two suggestions. The base should be heavier, and it should be made in the US

Not very efficient
I have two Gardena impulse sprinklers with a spike to push into the ground, they both work fine even when turned on at the same time from my water supply. I needed to water beds from patios and pathways so the Dramm looked ideal with its sold base. Unfortunately if I try to turn on two at the same time they stop rotating so buying two was a waste of money. They also waste a lot of water around the unit from the impulse jet.In conclusion they look smart, well built but inefficient.

Strong sprinkler, annoying to adjust
Works decently, sprays really far. Not great for small city backyards where you need to move from front to back. The adjustables aren’t sensitive enough or easy to reset every time.... easier to just use a traditional back and fourth spriker.

Works perfectly and keeps working
The best sprinklers I’ve ever used - way better than Gardena, melnor, gilmour.
