This device works well as long as it can suction against a very smooth surface such as a flat tile. Anything even slightly porous and it will pop up. The device itself works well even on uneven apples as long as I get them onto the prongs correctly. I love to dehydrate apples (and a host of other fruits with melons a favorite for my husband) as a healthy snack alternative versus the deep fried varieties full of added sugar that are offered in stores. So a peeler/slicer/corer is a must to process a lot of apples at one time. I have two good sized dehydrators, and now that we have cool to cold weather the one in the kitchen is finally back in action.

This makes peeling and pouring apples so fast and it’s fantastic for making curly fries. Love it

It peels the Apple and leaves a 10 foot lone rine, decores and slices it all in 10 twist of the knob.

The peeler is actually great however the wooden handle has to be screwed back on after every apple. Very frustrating!

You will definitely eat more apples with this super cool peeler. It's actually fun to use and helps to get you into healthier habits. Well worth the price.

This is one of the most simplistic apple slicer I’ve ever seen. It really makes eating apples less of a chore and more of a snack.

It's tedious and requires stopping and adjusting the blade every four to five apples. I do find that homegrown apples that are knotty and uneven actually seems to work better in this. But your store bought apples in the bag all the same size don't do as well

This peeler is simple and easy to use. It says NOT to air dry it BUT I rinse it off and put it upside down the way it is in my dish rack no problems. I have seen little to no rusty spots but that would be normal since this product does have metal. Well made and does the job. I actually peeled not just apples, but hard pears and other hard fruits and veggies. I cut my butternut squash so it was a round part and a long cylinder part. It fit nicely in the peeler and skinned it nicely, cut it into slices, too! When you do use it to core and slice it does core anything you are trying but the core can just be used too! Love this product and I have used it alot lately with the fall apples, squash and pears from my backyard gardens. Securely suctions to a hard counterop and stays there until you release the suction. Very nice, simple and useful tool : ) Very happy!
