Great TV, exceeds my expectations
First, the picture quality is fantastic. Bright, sharp, vivid, and dark blacks. I did adjust the initial brightness settings from high to normal. Other than that, the settings are as is from the manufacturer. Though many say they think the sound quality is bad, I think its good. Its better than the sound quality of my old Yamaha sound bar. Some have said the upscaling of low res video is poor, but I think its fine. Setup was easy. I bypassed the onboard Roku app (by selecting the 'connect to the internet later' option during setup) because we have our own new Roku Ultra we would rather use. The TV was recognized by our Roku so we only need one device to control both the Roku and the TV during normal viewing. However, if you want to change the TV settings, you need to use the original roku remote that comes with the TV. BTW, the built-in Roku environment works great. Shipping was great, it arrived completely intact, and the packaging was excellent. Overall, a wonderful TV and a great value.

It's Massive
I was looking at getting the TCL Class 5-Series or the HiSense U8K in 65". I was leaning towards the HiSense, but saw this TV was on sale cheaper and larger at 75". A buddy convinced me the bigger tv would be worth it since spec-wise they were within a few points of each other on rtings.com. Man, this TV is massive. Before getting it I'd only had a 50" and this dwarfs it in comparison. Feels like I have a mini movie theater in my living room now! The Roku OS is simple and nice although some of the recent TOS changes they've made are annoying. I may end up using my PiHole to better block its phoning home if they get too egregious. Otherwise, for its class of TV, I'm happy with its performance and picture quality. We mainly stream watching Netflix, Hulu, or Plex and sometimes watching Youtube. Gaming features are a little lackluster at 4k 60fps, but having a 3060ti doesn't give me a lot of room to push higher frames so this does the job well. Variable Refresh Rate support does help a little but at my sub 60 framerates isn't as beneficial. As an unrelated tip, I would actually recommend using MSI Afterburner and RiveriaTuner to cap framerate to whatever your consistent average is. This forces your game to run with consistent frame times which can make a bigger impact on smoothness than VRR or having high frame rates. I've recently set this up on my computers and it makes the experience much better. Even gaming at 30-45fps looks smoother just because of the frame times not jumping around everywhere when I swing between 30 and 60 fps.The short of it though is if you're in the market for a TV you can't go wrong with this one.

Fantastic! Awesome! Highly Recommend
The Series 4 is the low-end model and the Series 6 is the high-end model, whereas the Series 5 sits bang in the middle and is IMHO the best value for features and quality.Picture and audio settings provide outstanding results. And I should mention that Roku (Smart-TV) is probably the best you can get, it truly is awesome, no lag, very easy user interface. There isn't anything to moan about. This TV is freaking awesome. It gets plenty bright enough, contrast and colors are truly outstanding. Very crisp clear picture, and many of the older TV shows dating as far back to 1950 have been processed (upscaled) for various channels such as Disney Plus, Prime and others, resulting in excellent picture quality! The TCL handles this process superbly without any conflicts with its own built-in upscaling. Like I said, the end result is excellent. I will probably buy another TCL.

Beautiful picture
Bought this Roku model TCL tv and it is very nice. Great quality picture, plentiful inputs, good remote, and a nice price. This is my third Roku television, and I wouldn’t buy any other smart TV.The only thing that is disappointing are the built in speakers. Like every other flat screen television, they are almost worthless. Buy a good quality sound bar, or a surround speaker system, and all will be fine.Highly recommend this TV.

Good Picture for the Price - Roku Shortcomings
My two main complaints for this TV are as follows:-It does not have the ability to connect to sound devices via Bluetooth - not even other TLC products-The remote is not responsive - it is the same as using a $100 television. Both of the above problems are due to the Roku interface, not the hardware of the TV itself. The picture quality is good, though the Hisense models are brighter. Overall, the TCL has a more accurate picture. TCL products are a bit better made and are likely to last longer. The value is way above brands like Samsung, LG and Sony. Though at least for those companies, you don't have to worry about spyware.I've heard complaints that this TV is poor when it comes to bad angle viewing. I disagree. It's above average in that regard. It mounts well. Very sturdy. My only complaint here is that the power input and soft cables are on opposite sides. This can make it a pain to run cords through the wall.Sound quality is a bit below average. I would recommend getting a sound bar. Though again, it lacks Bluetooth capabilities for everything except Roku products. You'll have to use an HDMI, optical, etc. cord.I am a tad disappointed with the customization and setting options. These can often make a huge difference on viewing quality. With that said, the present picture is good.Update: The HDMI 2, HDMI 3, and HDMI 4 ports all do not work. This appears to be a common problem for this model. It renders the product borderline unusable. I cannot give this product anything more than 1 star.
