-Purchased it to use as a 'collar' to press on rear axle bearings on older vehicle (which probably isn't the intended or advertised purpose)-1.5" ID fit axle shaft perfectly with just enough clearance but to align with the bearing collar that was being pressed with the bearing-The pressing collar showed no deflection or deforming in the press process can can be used repeatedly-The material seems strong-While I won't actually need the splitting of the collar (that was purchased), it could come in handy for other purposes.-I only bought a single piece to fit my application, but the many sizes these things come in would add to flexibility in various usesI would recommend for future purchase

I built a water wheel for my farm pond and used these to guarantee the wheel did not slip off the axle and fall into the lake. They worked great and I love that they had allen head machine bolts so I could get some power on them to make sure they stayed tight. Great product, fast shipping and exactly as described. This would be excellent in the hardware section. However, this is also in personal care and the reason that I purchased this was to use as a Meritor stimulant/aid in order to prevent climax and just for fun in general. This is not worth the money. You have to use a tool which is not provided in order to get it on and off. And it is extremely uncomfortable and not the type of uncomfortable that is fun in an intimate scenario.

I purchased a pair of the 1-1/2" ID Clamping Collars w/ Double Split. They are machined well and have a good protective Black Oxide coating. Excellent value for the money!!!

Just barely fits around a 1.5 inch pipe. Look for a larger size.

I purchased this for my Four Wheel Camper dinette table post so it wouldn't keep sliding down in the adjustment locking clamp. It was easy to install & hasn't needed adjustment since installation.

Wish it would have came with a screw driver or something to tighten the screws.

Used this to tweak my CHEAP Chinese flash dryer. There was a bolt but it doesn't hold well and it gets metal shavings and black paint on the floor .. this FIXED the dryer sonit swivels and doesn't tear of the metal
