Esschert Design USA LH119 Fabric Doorstop with Handle Gray

We have a heavy door opening outside and need something to hold it open even when windy. This works and is attractive and easy to move around. We bought a second one for another door.

This product is a very nice door stop. Holds my patio door open very nicely. The handle is a very nice touch as well

I read some reviews about them showing up dirty, maybe they have changed now, but I recieved 2 today and they came sealed in plastic and clean as can be. I had 5 previously, had one tear, that is the only reason I took a star away, but it was in the sun and weather for the past few years, I'll update if others rip. So I have 6 total now, they hold my heavy triple pane glass French doors open, one on each side if I want the door part way open and not swinging. They have a large handle and are easy to move, no worry about rusting cast iron or scratching doors with these.

I've tried a number of door stops for our door to the garage which has a spring on it that causes the door to slam shut due to fire codes I believe. We adjusted the spring a bit, but it is still powerful and I am afraid the door will slam shut and will injure someone or hurt the dog. The other door stops have either been too short or not heavy enough or both. I used our tool bag for many months just to make sure the door would not accidently close while bringing groceries inside. I also did not want something that would scratch our wood floors. So I read a lot of reviews and took a chance on this doorstop. It is PERFECT. I was skeptical that a cloth door stop could be heavy enough but it is weighted just right and holds my spring loaded door very securely. I am extremely happy with this product. It is easy to move around and does not scratch the floor.

It's not necessarily the most fabulous design, but it works GREAT. And I love the irony of the lettering on it. It's nice and heavy so it really works, even in a windy space. Would highly recommend it.

I should have listened to those reviews that said BEWARE do not buy splits at seam. I've had this item for a total of 6 weeks, i live by myself...no pets, no children. One wouldn't think moving this from the door handle directly to the floor and once done back to the door handle would damage this in any way. Just like all others that have complained about the stitching coming undone at the seam....it happened to my purchase as well. I spent $22.92 what a joke! AMAZON should not let a vendor sell junk like this! I don't usually post reviews but since I can't get a refund....the only control I have is to post my NEGATIVE review to warn others. If you think this won't happen to you, think again. I wish I did!

Holds a very heavy door on a throw rug. Don’t know if it holds on tile, wood, or laminate.

I needed something a minimum of 8" high and ordered this because the specifications said it was 10.5". I was so disappointed when I put it in front of our door because it was less than 7" high and totally missed the door. Their measurement clearly includes the soft handle. I couldn't find anything higher on Amazon and could only exchange it, so I chose, instead, to adapt it with rolled up towels. (See photo.) Perhaps I'll find something in a color that looks less like a mistake. In summary, this would have been perfect for us if it were the size it stated.
