WestinghouseLighting 70689 2Pc 8" BRZ Lamp Harp

This harp works exactly as it should; it was delivered super fast and it installed instantly. My only caution is that it does NOT come with a finial (The ball that screws on the top.) I didn’t need a finial, but if you do, it’ll be an added cost. Finials are inexpensive and readily available on-line. However, the almost deal-breaker for me was that the “bronze” color, as advertised, is actually quite a dark brown/black color. Fortunately I’m using a red/cream print silk shade and the harp does not show through, but you might want to consider this. Really appreciate the availability of this product and it’s quick ship!

So this isn’t really a replacement (atleast for mine)..my husband had to take my whole lamp apart and cut the wires and all for this to fit. Worth it if you know how to do it or if you have a lamp that it’ll just attach to.

The harp looked way better in person. The dark bronze color matched up perfectly with the antique dark brass lamp ring. Even though the lamp is higher than the one on the right, the harp lowered the shade perfectly even with the shorter lamp. Nice and strong, yet easy to spring into place, I will be ordering more to replace the cheap shiny brass ones that have been replaced through the years on all my antique lamps.

Got this sucker all the way open before I realized it didn’t come with a finial. Now I’m back on amazon looking for a final that’s the same color and hoping they all come in a standard size. What a headache. It’s also a little short for a large lamp. It seems sturdy enough if you have a medium or small lamp, but your standard large table lamp... it’s a little iffy. The lamp shade is rising pretty low. I wouldn’t buy it again.

Everything as expected EXCEPT...fair warning to rookies (like us) to buying lamp harps. This does NOT come with the ball/screw that secures the lamp shade to the harp. Not sure if harps normally come without it, but was a surprise to us. Have to but that separate. Quality of the harp appears good though. Nice and solid.

I gave this harp the highest rating because it is exactly as described plus more. You might think a harp is a harp, but with all the new light bulbs, that isn't true anymore. This harp is sturdy and easy to install, which are both important features. It is also priced fairly based on the research I did. The best part is the width of it. It has standard measurements at its base and top so it fits most lamps. It is wider in the middle, which makes it possible to use the new bigger led light bulbs. This is a very nice feature. I recommend.

It includes important information. My neat lampshades go well with this unit.

My lamps are large and these are a little to short, if that helps anyone. They are nice quality, however, they are NOT bronze, they are burgundy wine in color. They are dark in color and they don't show up for my lamps, so they will work, but they are not in the brown tones. The seller did ship these out very fast.
