Well, I hate to rate things lower because of our experience, but I'm giving it three stars.If the cats were rating this food, it would be a 1!We'd never tried this brand before and have not seen it locally. Since we like to give our cats variety in theirfoods, just like they like variety too, I gave this one a shot. I think the Tiki brand only uses fish-flavoredingredients in their foods.Now, our cats are not huge fish-flavored food fans. Still, I thought this would be a nice change.I have to say that I think the quality of the food seems to be top notch. I didn't see any mysterious foodin the cans, and in fact, looked a little similar to what you'd see opening a tin of human-food sardines.It comes in a golden aspic, and there are visible chunks of sardines.I didn't give the cats any treats, dry food, snacks, etc all afternoon so they would be really hungryfor dinner. This has always worked as a way to get them to try something new.I warmed up the can (I always warm their cans in hot water for extra scent and taste) and divided it between them.Our male cat dived right in. Our female sniffed the bowl, looked at me like I was trying to poison her,and ran out of the room. She simply refused to even consider eating this food!I wouldn't give her anything else, despite pestering me for a couple hours because she was hungry.Nope, she'd rather starve than to touch this one. It was still in her dish the next morning, with onlythe gravy having been licked off by the male, who also never finished his food either.We ended up flushing the rest of the food in their dishes, soaking them to get the sardine scent out,and going back to their preferred poultry for dinner. I now have 11 expensive cans of food left. I predictthe kitty in the storage area near us will be eating quite well in the next few weeks!In conclusion, if your cat is already a big seafood/fish flavor fan, then they will probably love this one.The quality is there, the food is fresh smelling (albeit cat-stinky), and not full of fillers.If your cat is not a big seafood fan, then you might as well not bother!

When you open a can, you see sardine cutlets. Looks and smells just like human grade sardines in a can. Great thing is these are balanced for a feline diet with all the needed vitamins and minerals.Very good quality cat food and the cats enjoy it. Made at a human food factory with human grade ingredients. I try to use this brand, BFF, Weurva and then for dry food Orijen cat food. My Himalayan cats are on a no grain, no gluten/filler diet. This wet food in combination with the dry has led to great coats, no hair balls, good energy and solid not too stinky poo :)

My cats love most of the tiki cat flavors, but this flavor is by far their favorite. I have 3 cats, 2 of which are very picky eaters with tastes that change. Since I've found Tiki cat they are finally all able to be pleased out of one can. I order this flavor, the tuna flavor and the crab one, and by rotating between these I can keep them all happily eating whatever i happen to open for them that day. I trust this brand , the food looks whole and smells like it could be eaten on crackers! Never been that hungry, but feeding human grade cat food does avoid that nasty cat food smell that used to accompany feeding time twice a day :)

The quality of my cat's fur and her overall health has improved drastically since switching to Tiki. This food has quality ingredients and she is extra-excited for dinnertime.

My cat is allergic to any and all types of chicken, including meal, fat and by-products. Those ingredients are in almost every wet and dry cat food variety. Tiki Cat is one of the few to have an ingredient list match the stated flavor. This flavor has big cutlets of sardines in the can. My cat loves it, and every other flavor of Tkik Cat that is chicken-free.

I have four indoor cats and one outdoor kitty and all vote on the quality of the food they receive from Amazon.All five say that they IMMEDIAATELY loved these Sardine Cutlets from Tiki Cat. They say the taste was good, the consistency was fine and the amount of fluid was adequate. (They all enjoy a bit of a drink along with their wet food!)But "our Mom gave them to us too often. This is a rich food and we do not want it everyday. It kind of reminds us of how humans love their chili dogs. Humans just seem to go ape for chili dogs now and again. They load them up with chili, sauerkraut, onions (ugh!), pickle relish, and sometimes even cheese. Then they eat and eat. Plus, they stuff in some of those ruffled chips. Then they rub their tummies and say how great those chili dogs were, BUT, it is a WHILE before we see them go out and do that sort of chowing down again!!! That is how it is with us and the SARDINE CUTLETS. We can really chow down on them, but then we need a break. About three weeks seems to be right and then we have a go at them again. Those cutlets are lovely, but they are NOT an everyday food for us fur people!"And that folks, seems to be exactly how my kitties feel about the Sardine Cutlets. If I give them some every two or three weeks, and it seems every three weeks is the best, they have a wonderful time eating Sardine Cutlets. If I give them another can right away, they just walk off. So, therein lies the "chili dog" analogy. They LOVE, LOVE, LOVE them once in a while, but too often is TOO OFTEN. So, I buy a case and it lasts me quite a while: 2 or 3 months. But, when they are in the mood, LOVE THEM THEY DO!Since this is not an everyday food that they like all the time, all five have agreed that this is a four star item. EVERYDAY, ANYDAY foods get 5 stars. All are agreed on this vote and they say "Thank you very much for your attention to our opinions. We only tell you Amazonian friends the truth and the truth is that the Sardine Cutlets are a four star food feast, BUT they are Wonderful now and again for your feline people, so do order them.
