I had tears of joy drinking this
I'm 9 weeks with baby number 2. I had HG with my first pregnancy and again with this one. Not only was I throwing up 9 to 10 times a day, even on an empty stomach (stomach acid/bile), I also couldn't eat ANYTHING. Everything and I mean everything had the same smell and taste of vomit that was unbearable. I ordered this mainly from the reviews, and it is a gift from GOD!! After 4 days of no food and a loss of 17 lbs (that I didn't have to lose) it arrived and I immediately put it in the ninja with some milk and ice. I was in tears drinking this. It tastes like chocolate which anything would have been a win, but the taste is fantastic. I am writing this to help a mama who is suffering, try this and I pray you have the same relief that I did. I'm only a few shakes in but my energy is better and the nausea is manageable. Thank you so much to whomever made this product. It really feels like you saved my life!

Great snack!
I bought this with every intention to make a high protein granola bar. I wish I would’ve found out about this in the beginning of my pregnancy. I’m currently 33 weeks pregnant and love my new granola bars. Perfect snack to keep me going throughout the day ❤️. I bought the Kona mocha flavor and it taste pretty good mixed up with other ingredients. I haven’t tried it as a drink and probably won’t because I don’t like protein shakes anyways.

Totally worth it
I bought this after researching types of prenatals. My wife was having a hard time keeping anything solid down the first 4 months of her pregnancy. When I came across this product, I was apprehensive because it was so much for a small bag. But so far, it's been the best route to get the nutrients in and to keep them in. It doesn't hurt to mix some stuff in it, like I put ice and peanut butter along with soy milk and blended it for a delicious peanut butter milkshake. Also works with strawberries, bananas or really anything you have to add. Any ways, this product is definitely worth the money. We can tell the difference when she takes the shake and when she doesn't. It has helped her morning sickness tremendously. Only reason I marked the packaging as a 3 is because the first one we received had been sliced open inside the packaging. They were quick about resolving it and the next day we had a new package ready.

Not delicious but functional
This shake is a good option to satisfy those mid meal pregnancy hunger pangs; but definitely too thick when used per their recommendation (1 scoop with 8 oz of liquid). I now use only half a scoop per 8 oz (i use 4oz of milk and 4oz of water), and the consistency works better for me. Regarding the taste, two things I don't like: 1) the medicinal taste of it, which even the kona mocha flavor fails to hide. 2) the aftertaste of the sucralose. While it's a great product for those that have gestational diabetes, I wish they just left the sugar out and let the customers add their own preferred sweetener. I throw in half a banana to cover the medicinal taste, and a couple of pitted dates to cover the aftertaste of sucralose; these hacks have helped me make the drink more agreeable to my palate. While this is no delicious shake, I'm happy to consume this for the sake of my baby's health. Yet to figure out if it really aids in supplementary pregnancy nutrition.

Helped significantly with IUGR
When I first bought this shake I wanted it to help with my extreme morning sickness. I did help a bit. I stopped drinking it for a while because my sickness was gone and these shakes are kinda pricey. Then I was told that my baby was at risk of intrauterine growth restriction at my 20 week ultrasound. There’s no genetic, cord blood flow, or placenta issues so my doctor said I could try upping my daily protein intake. Each monthly scan showed him dropping in percentile and when he dropped to 11th percentile, my doctor mentioned me seeing a high risk doctor. I began drinking this shake and slowly, the baby began to catch up, growth-wise. He jumped to 36th percentile in one month. I buy the mocha flavor and mix one scoop with 16oz of low fat FairLife milk in my bullet blender. Together it’s 46 grams of protein. I split the shake in half and drink 8oz at a time. I make two of these 16oz shakes a day. So I’m drinking 8oz 4 times a day. High price aside, I’m so glad I found this product. I honestly believe that it helped my baby thrive.
