I also wanted to buy a pairing knife so this came as a set. The knives are sharp and cut like butter. I have been using the pairing knife to cut green coconuts and I broke my previous one while doing so. This pairing knife cuts the green coconut like it's nothing. The kitchen knife is very sharp and very easy to work with. I cut vegetables, meat and all sorts of things and I have to say this is the best kitchen knife I have ever used. Review: Low Quality - This got two stars because it comes in a pretty box but the knives are definitely not worth $200 as desertcart has it originally listed. These are entry level knives and it's misleading for desertcart to suggest the set is worth $200.
