Easy to Use & Effective
I am impressed with this product. It was pretty easy to use. I had a small cupboard door on my desk that broke when I moved. It's a pressed wood desk and the screw holes were not only stripped, but pieces of pressed wood broke off. What to do? I considered all kinds of cement and epoxy and didn't want to deal with drills and epoxy fumes, so I ordered this based on the reviews. The screw holes were tiny so I had to cut small slivers of the product and insert them. Low and behold the door is screwed back in and closing properly now. It seems to be holding well. This product is so easy to use and so effective that it's something I always want to have in my tool box!

Works Great
I had a door going to my basement that wasn't hanging right because the holes in the door and doorframe were stripped out. I decided to give these things a try because of the good reviews and cheap price. My door hangs perfectly now. I highly recommend these. They are small strips of aluminum that are like a fine cheese grater feel to them. You just cut them into small strips, stick them in the hole, and the screw will go in tightly and will stay there. One word of advice, if you cannot fit 2 strips in, put one in and tighten down the screw, then take it out. This should open up more room to put more strips in. I put 2 strips in each hole and it holds up great. Again highly recommended because of the quality and cheap price.

Very good as a quick fix but needs more details instructions
This is actually an excellent product and a great idea. Works much better than stuffing matches or wood splinters in the hold in order to allow a better hold for the screw. Doing this type of work for a living there are better ways to fix a stripped screw or an enlarged hole, but this is the quickest easiest and most effective way due to the material it is made of. This product will indeed work 100% of the time if you use it properly. There are some videos to check out and I personally am considering doing a helpful video as there are some tricks in order to get effective results. Mainly is placement and the size of the hole. There are times when you truly need to get a drill and enlarge the hole just a bit. Once you do a couple you understand what you need to do in order to get the best results. Be patient. Like most "tool" this will work for you if you use it properly.

MR.GRIP really does work.
I have a bedroom door with screw holes that were too big for the screws. The hinge plates holes on the top and bottom separated from the door and the plate in the middle separated from the door frame. The door had never been hung properly and the constant use of the door over a thick carpet caused the screws to widen the holes. I tried using those plastic things for the holes but that did not work. I thought I would have to replace a perfectly good door until I found this product. I cut some strips as directed and placed them in the wood holes in the door and the holes in the door frame and screwed the screws in and it worked perfectly. It was as if there was never a problem with the screw holes. I put three cut strips (to fit in each hole) and the screws gripped as advertised. Just make sure you use all of the screws for all of the holes, the bottom plate is missing two of the three screws to my door so the one screw loosened some. Otherwise the top and middle plate are holding firm with the Mr. grip screw hole repair kit. I have a lot of the kit left over and I promise it really does work.

Didn't work for me, but may work for you
I didn't have such good luck with these where I used them. I have a travel trailer that I backed it into the fence and it ripped off the lower awning arm. I was looking for a fix online so I came across this product. I drilled a hole out in order to fit this as best I could, however when I put the screw back in, it went in very snug, but it couldn't support the weight or something, the awning arm was still a bit loose. I ended up replacing the 2x4 behind the lower panel for that snug fit again. I haven't had the need to use this anywhere else so I can't really comment on other uses and didn't want to give one star because of the nature of my specific application. Read the other reviews, they seem to be great!

Super fix! Works fantastic!
My son's closet doors have door handle pulls to open them with springs that apply pressure so it's hard to get them unlatched some times. Because of the latter one of the door handle screws got stripped from being screwed in over and over. This kit (which comes with about 6 of the strips) is super easy to use. Cut the pieces small enough to get them in the wood stripped out hole and then screw the screws back in. Holds really well. I'm very impressed. Great to always have in your stable.

Failed for my cabinet hinge
This seems like a decent product, but completely failed in my case. I had a kitchen cabinet hinge screw that was really loose and tried to use this product on it to tighten the screw. I cut and applied and product as directed, but the screw head snapped deep in there. I had to bore a hole with one of those hollow screw extractor bits to get it out (and patch with a dowel). Perhaps there should be a disclaimer on this product that you should only use it on relatively soft wood. I still have more product (they give you a lot), hence maybe it’ll be more useful in the future.

Must have for a drill kit!!!
As a LVt and do it yourself home handy man I encounter a lot of stripped holes. And I can say these things are absolutely effective! I only used one little tiny piece on a stripped hole for a dead bolt and instantly the screw now holds and has been in place PERFECTLY ever since. No way am I not gonna get another pack of these as backup. Definite must have.
