Purchased this ruler for a quilt but given the compact size, I find the functionality is endless. Great readability. Fairly slip resistant and good quality. Very easy to use.

Great product

Useful, clearly marked. Sometimes a big ruler is not necessary. I do a lot of sewing and a rule of thumb is "the right tool for the job". Good tools make projects less stressful and more accurate.

This ruler will really come in handy

Ruler is great for quilting. Stays in place as you cut.

This ended up being one of my most useful rules. I make a lot of self binding blankets and one of the markings includes a 45 degree triangle perfect for measuring the mitered corners. Just line up the corner with the lines against the fabric, mark the edge, cut and sew. Love it.

When doing smaller work, this 4.5“ x 8.5“ is actually an ideal size. After you’ve already cut your strips or whatever, and you need to cut things down further, this size is really quite manageable for your hands and fits on maybe one of the smaller mats. Of course it has the typical markings that are so unique and so helpful to creative grids including the 1 inch markings in white and then on the opposite side and bottom the 3 1/2 inch marking so half inch, one and a half inch, 2 1/2 inch etc. The other thing that I really love about creative grids rulers is that on the side with the 1 inch to inch white markings, there is a quarter inch dotted demarcation for when you need to make that quarter inch determination on something like an economy block. A marvelous size of a ruler, so glad that I bought it!

Great ruler, the size is also great for trimming flying geese with the center 45 degree markings.

I love this size for smaller piecing. Having the non slip makes cutting fabrics so much easier and keeps cuts accurate. Keep buying new sizes to replace old rulers. I recommen this product.

This is a great size for squaring up small pieces, or a small trim here and there.

I use this ruler for 45 degrees corners...works great.
