UPDSTE 4/6/19 CHANGING FROM 1⭐ to 4⭐ FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND WILLINGNESS TO STAND BEHIND THERE PRODUCT AND SEND REPLACMENT GOT A HOLD OF THE COMPANY AND PROMPTLY SENT OUT S REPLACEMENT AND APOLOGIZED FOR THE DEFECTIVE SPOOL NEW SPOOL IS DEFINITELY BROWN AND CHANGE FAST TO GREEN WHEN ABOVE SPECIFIED TEMP AND PRINTS EXTREMELY EASY USE SAME SETTING AS I DO WITH HATCHBOX PLANOT AS ADVERTISED!!!Review is based on product description and actual received product ONLY!!. I have yet to use this product due to it not being the color shown so it no longer fits the need for my project description says brown to green which would indicate that at some point this filament is brown in color and as per the description when filament tempature is below 31deg C. at no point has this filament been brown like shown in the pictures or in others review it's a green pea soup at best to a bright green photo attached are right out of the sitting on print 65deg room not brown so figured maybe house thermostat not right so went to the extreme placed roll in the freezer one photo is about 2 min in the freezer not much changed so figured it takes longer even tho I've watched videos of it changing almost instantly so left it in for 20 min and the second photo is after 20 min and look bjust like the first photo when it was in for only 2 min.. seemed ether product is not consistent as u can see other posted photo and it's definitely more brown then what I received but still not as brown as ur lead to believe from the company advertised photo would really liked to have received the product show !!!

Didn't notice its a heat changing color need to say sorry on my first comment thought it was just brown. This is a awesome color will buy again.

I am not a fan of solid color prints. I feel they lack definition. I usually buy some sort of rainbow or color shifting filament just to keep things unique. This filament started out pretty great. It was printing well and would change color no problem. Color shift seemed to happen above body temperature which I was disappointed about but putting a print in the sun would warm it enough on the surface to make some wonderful patterns based on the shadows. I printed a number of little figures to hide around an outdoor food mall near my house. After about 3 weeks I went back and they were all shifted to the warm color (green) despite being cloudy and chilly that day. I took one home and popped it in the freezer as one person suggested but this did not ameliorate the situation. It seems that too much time in the sun will ruin the color change feature.I still have most of the spool left so I will continue to experiment but I will likely move on to something different in the future.TL;DR: Not great, not terrible. Sun seems to kill the shift.

I bought this to just play around with some color changing filament and really like this one it does really well between cold and hot transitions really easily I've bought some filaments in the past that don't transition really easily or well but this one does a really good job of transitioning back and forth between the two colors my kids love it

I make articulated toys that are donated to 13 different charities for kids. Imagine their surprise when they are playing with a geko and it changes color, or the T-rex turning green when they handle it. Hopefully this will make some under privileged child a bit happier. The finished quality is very good, and the layers adhere excellenty at .15mm.

Not sure I'm buying color changing filament again and this stuff is a bit harder to work with than the eSun I usually use. But it definitely does color change. It comes out of my machine basically florescent green and cools to a dirty brown. It will change color when you hold it but not "in a flash." It takes several minutes to get enough heat into it to change the color and usually does cool down in just a few minutes. But the 5 stars because I'm not at all disappointed that I gave it a try

I was looking for a cool filament to do some color change for some minecraft printing projects I have and this filament works wonderfully! Very little stringing with no changes in PrusaSlicer and using the Generic PLA filament option. A couple of notes that might help those who get stuck with a green that wont change, I noticed this after a print and it seemed to be stuck at green even after letting it cool, I had this problem once before with a different filament and I tossed it in the freezer for 2-3 minutes and it turned back to brown and it now works exactly as it should, turning to green on warm touch. Hope that helps!

If I couple give this 0 starts I would. It arrived with small breaks throughout the roll as pictured. Obviously very old filliment put on sale just to move it. DO NOT BUY THIS PLA. You will regret it.It's too bad really as I love these odd colour changing products. Too bad they couldn't deliver on quality.If the product is replaced I will update my review. But at this point I would not buy this brand again.

The filaments very easy to print. Color change is very nice. BUT!!!! It is so tangled I can't acheive any print. It only happening with this filament. Look at the pictures. Unusable if you don't stay all the time to watch the print. Wast of money so far. I give two stars only because the material itself is great.

Something to note, the color change goes to green and stays green until I put it in the fridge. Its 21C in my room. Prints well though.
