Fast and easy to setup. Windows 11 Update
Been using this for a few weeks now and it has worked very well. It was a simple plug it in and install the drivers to get it working. I have had no signal drop-outs or any issues with it. I had tried another brand of USB wi-fi adapter but it get dropping the signal, it was like the device was being unplugged and then plugged back in. My download speeds have improved compared to the previous wi-fi adaptor and powerline adaptors I was using. My router is on the ground floor at the front of the house and I'm using the TP-Link AX1800 in a room on the first floor at the back. Overall I would recommend this USB wi-fi adaptor.UPDATE:Bought a new mini PC with Windows 11 Pro and, unfortunately, this adapter just doesn't work well. Download speeds would vary between 0.1 and 30 (my max) at random, the device would disconnect and reconnect to USB. I updated the drivers to no avail. The device still works on my Windows 10 PC. I have noticed that my Bros Trend AC3 adapter has a specific driver for Windows 11 so it may just be a driver issue the TP-Link need to fix.

This is the last TP-link product I buy!
Every single TP-link wifi adapter I have owned has suddenly started playing up after a year or so. They work absolutely fine, they are fast and easy to use, then they just turn to rubbish suddenly and without warning. This one has started playing up after only a few (2) months. I moved it about 40cms, the unique plug of the stupid "free" usb cable popped out, and now the PoS thing keeps cutting out randomly, every time I turn my PC on I have to unplug this adapter and plug it back in just to get it started and then again every 10-20minutes. Cutting out in the middle of online games. I've only had it 2 months and it's already playing up. And that stupid usb cable, they make it seem like they're doing you a favor supplying it free, but it has a unique plug you can only get from TP-link themselves, absolutely nothing but a tiny bit of friction holding it in, it comes out as soon as you touch the adapter. It does get almost 60MB/s download speeds, but not much use when it keeps cutting out.

A bit finicky to install at first, but quite responsive
I play a large amount of Online games, mainly League of Legends (LoL), so having decent latency makes me quite happy that the reason I'm bad is not because of lag.Jokes aside, I have a ~300Mbps down connection and this handles it like a champ, and there's barely any ping or lag spikes, no packetloss, and no issues really after installation (so far... I have a bad track record with TP-link wifi adapters from before but if you don't see an edit then assume that it's been working well since). It was a major pain to install though. It didn't immediately plug-and-play like many other reviews, and I had to install the tp-link drivers from the website.Notice the paradox? Install drivers from a website without having the means to go online? Yeah, good one TP-Link.Basically, if you don't have a wired ethernet close by, or have some other means of getting your drivers, you're screwed. What I did was plug my phone in and use USB tethering, that let me access the wifi. If you can't do that for whatever reason, I suggest using a different device and using a usb to transfer the driver installation files like that.Even after installing the drivers though, it refused to connect to my wifi even though it could see it!!! I was thoroughly vexed by now, having restarted my pc about 10 times, but eventually I found out that switching the USB ports fixed it, for some godforsaken reason. If you have a 3.1 USB port, don't use that one, try to use a blue 3.0 port as apparently they're not backwards compatible. Eventually, after messing around with USB ports, it now has not acted up since, and connect perfectly fine. I'm not too sure about range, since my router is in the next room, but I'm sure that's not too bad either, the antennae look real enough.
