Way better than I expected
I have had one of these night sky ceiling projectors on my to buy list for a long time and finally decided to buy the pococo galaxy projector. It arrived well packaged and the unit itself looks great and feels high quality. You get 2 projection slides with it, my favourite is the night sky one, they are easy to swap out, you just pull the slide holder from the side and swap them over and push it back into place. There are 3 buttons, power on/off rotation on/off and a sleep timer button. When powered on it is virtually silent in operation, you have to put your ease right against it to hear anything which is very important for use at night in the bedroom. Another great thing is there is virtually no light leakage, in a fully dark room all you get is the projection itself, I was very surprised and impressed with just how good it looks in a pitch black room. Can’t really fault it, it does exactly what it should do really well, quietly and if you are in the market for this kind of product I highly recommended the pococo.

Something to make bedtime (or any room) feel more special
I recently got the POCOCO Galaxy Projector for my daughter’s bedroom, and it’s quickly become her favorite bedtime companion. Every night before going to sleep, she insists on turning off the lights and letting the projector fill the ceiling with bright, colorful space images. It’s surprisingly immersive—her entire room lights up, making it feel like she’s drifting off under the stars. One thing I really like about this projector is how quietly it rotates. There’s almost no noise at all, which keeps the relaxing mood and doesn’t distract her as she’s falling asleep. I also appreciate how simple it is to adjust the focus, so I can get the images just right on the ceiling without a fuzzy edge. We usually keep the projector at about two meters from the ceiling, and it still looks sharp and clear. The built-in timer functions are a big plus too. On nights when we’re extra tired, I don’t have to remember to turn it off—having it automatically shut off after a set time is really convenient. And because it’s rechargeable, there aren’t cords all over her room. One charge lasts long enough for our nightly routine without having to plug it back in. Energy efficiency is another big highlight. I was actually impressed to see it has an A+++ rating, which means I don’t have to worry about wasting electricity or running up my bill. Plus, it’s nice knowing it’s a bit better for the environment. The extra projection discs you can buy are a fun option if you want more variety—so far, we’ve stuck with the two that came in the box, but I’m already thinking about getting a few more as a treat. Overall, the POCOCO Galaxy Projector has been a wonderful way to add some magic to bedtime. Our daughter looks forward to it every night, and it really sets a calming tone for her to drift off into dreamland. If you’re looking for something to make bedtime (or any room) feel more special, I highly recommend giving it a try.

Good but extremely expensive for what it is
Excellent projection quality, large surface area and quite bright. It does kind of look like the stars are moving around. It started to make a weird noise a few months in, which concerned me, but it seems to have stopped now. However, the price point is far too high. I bought it as very much an exception at the time. It's just not something I think is worth spending that much on for the average person like me, when you can get cheaper ones that do a slightly worse job or the official SEGA one for around the same price. In my opinion the slides themselves being £50 a pack, when you only get 2 with the projector, is unreasonable and I'd struggle to justify buying it.

** BEWARE OF THE PRICE YOU PAY ** READ THE REVIEW **
I have given this 1* because I think people need to read this review. The projector itself is amazing. I bought this model when it was £99.99. I note it is now apparently at a 'sale' sort of price; £79.99. I bought this one because I wanted the best model. There were a lot of 'models' advertised at different prices with different write-ups and I bought this one because it boasted 'industrial grade 2 million pixel lens', a '5K ultra HD disc' and it didn't state a maximum focal length so all in all a rather superior model, I thought. So I bought it and posted it off in time for the recipient's birthday. However, I was curious and so I emailed Pococo, asking what specifically constituted the difference in price because there was up to a whopping £33.80 variance. Guess what they replied? 'Hi Fiona, Thank you for reaching out with your question. All the POCOCO Galaxy Projectors listed on Amazon UK are the same product, regardless of the different prices. The variation is due to some being older listings and others being newer ones. You’re totally fine to order the cheaper one — it’s the exact same projector.' To be fair, they refunded me the difference but there are a lot of you out there who may well be persuaded to buy a model thinking it is superior when in actual fact, it's not.

My daughter loves it!
Bought this for my daughter and she loves having it at night. You can change the focus to match your ceiling height and it has timing modes and auto-off. Runs on main or battery comes with Galaxy Traveler and Westeros 2 galaxy. Good for relaxing and going to sleep

Expecting more for the money.
First issue is there is no weight to the base, so it is very unstable when tilted to the 30 degree angle. The slides, as other customers have mentioned are cheaply made bad images. Virtually impossible to focus on a whole ceiling and im not sure about the claim of 80% focusing. The price for extra slides is step and they need to be way better. One plus point is it's very quiet, no noise at all which is great for bedrooms. It looks okay, just a black ball with a light on the top.

Lack Lustre for a star clustar
Disappointed with performance of this projector, advertised as 5K display and one of the best galaxy projectors available to date (12/2025). Once charged, projection light was much dimmer than expected. Requires complete darkness to view effectively. Once focus optimised, view lacks definition (appalling if projected on to ceiling/wall at angle) - 0nly focuses at 1 specific plain. Slides had notable bubbles. Not worth price tag.
