Beautiful gown with some flaws
PROS:1. The dress is pretty great quality for the price. The lace doesn't look cheap and there's a lot of it on the dress. I didn't have any issues with zippers or seams.2. Shipping was super fast. It came much sooner than expected which was nice and good if you are getting married soon.3. The dress is comfortable. I have sensitive skin and don't like certain fabrics or tags, but the lace wasn't itchy or irritating and neither was the tulle which was a concern for me. But I wore this for 7 hours and had no issues with comfort.CONS:1. The dress came with a stain. It was pretty noticeable and on the front top portion of the dress. I got it dry cleaned by a specialist but they couldn't remove it even after they said they did. Eventually a tide pen did the trick. (Could have saved $20) I tested the tide pen on a similar stain on the hem first.2. The dress was HUGE at first even with custom measurements. I sent in custom measurements and the dress was several sizes too big which is better than it being too small, but it needed a lot of alterations. The hem, sleeves and bodice we're all very large.The alterations were a little pricey, but I wanted to find a great seamstress. Still, with how cheap the dress is, if you add that to the cost of alterations and ALL of my accessories for the dress everything cost less than a dress at David's bridal so it was definitely worth it.NOTES:I got a hoop skirt to go with the dress to get a full ball gown look instead of an A-line which is what you'll have if you don't have anything underneath. I got a 3 tier hoop on Amazon and it worked just fine, I slipped it on underneath and had no issues with alterations and it was very comfortable.The dress doesn't come with a garment bag so I bought one on Amazon that had shoe holders and enough space for the Train and hoop skirt. It was super cheap and totally worth it.Not really a fault of its own, I think it just happens to dresses with layers and with tulle... While take photos outside lots of bugs, leaves and twigs got stuck in the dress so be aware of that. Also lots of little threads needed to be snipped but nothing unraveled.I had to get a special sticky bra to wear with the dress because it the neckline is pretty low and the illusion back is as well.I replaced the belt with one from Amazon that was a dupe of one I tried on at a bridal salon.I hope this helps!
