Solid Upgrade to Surface Pro 7+ device
Solid upgrade to mine and Wifes Surface Pro 7+ devices. Replaced my SSD and had zero issues and even though my wife SSD was not recognized by the tablet or other devices Amazon replaced it asap and the replacement worked great. Easy replacement process and they work for what they were intended for. 10 out of 10.

Not as Advertised. It's Gen 4X4, not 3X4 as Advertised. Does NOT work in Surface Pro 7+
I specifically ordered this SSD because it was promised to be Gen 3. I wanted to upgrade my surface pro 7+. It's well known that the Gen 4 SSD will not work in the Surface Pro. The seller clearly stated that this is a Gen 3, but what I was sent is something different. It's clearly a Gen 4 and doesn't match what was advertised. Of course it does NOTwork in my Surface Pro 7+

Not a Gen 3x4. It is a Gen 4x4.
Will not work with a surface pro 8, I have tried 2 as they claim they're pcie Gen 3x4 but they overheat, crash, won't even let me install windows.

It arrived well packaged . I bought kioxia gb 5 which caused my surface pro 8 to crash , but this one worked as expected . I have been using it for a week now.

Kioxia SSD 512GB M.2 2230 NVMe PCIe Gen3 x4 per Surface Pro 8
Dopo aver dovuto restituire l'ottimo Sabrent NVMe PCIe Gen4 x4 perchè incompatibile col Surface Pro 8, ho acquistato questo Kioxia che "sembra" (sono solo 2 giorni che lo sto usando) funzionare bene col Surface Pro 8. E' lo stesso brand montato in originale sul PC, solo da 512GB invece dei 128GB presenti. Non ho potuto fare prove di velocità di lettura/scrittura ma non trovo grandi differenze con l'originale. Per il momento mi ritengo soddisfatta.

Behövde uppgradera min hårddisk på Surface Pro 8 till 512GB. Efter lite efterforskning så rekommenderades denna SSD i Gen. 3 som fullt kompatibel, vilket den verkligen bevisat sig vara.
