A: Yes, it can be used in a shed ... I use mine in an eight by ten metal shed and, using dry wood as fuel it has, on one occasion, raised the temperature from 32 degrees F to 65 F and on another occasion from 30 to 71, both in the space of one hour.  Be sure that the flue can exit well above the shed and that the heater is kept away from combustible materials.

**Q: Why is there a chimney damper when they have been made illegal in the uk due to risk of co poisoning?**
A: You don't get one with the stove
