M2009016X Marine Band Crossover C Harmonica.

I was surprised on how big a step up this was over my Hohner Special 20. Tighter, easier to play, great sound, very responsive, and even found it for about the same price as a Special 20 (well worth the wait of it coming from Britain). You can get even better harps, but this was the best out of the box sound I’ve found so far. Very happy with it to the point I never pick up any of my Hohners, except to remind myself how good the Crossover is.

Best harmonica made!

Really great and beautiful harps. They have a bright and slightly raspy sound. I expected excellent quality from the harp, but the quality of the case really surprised me. For those few u-blockers, this is an older style with the plates overlapping the comb. It can irritate your tongue. But the smaller holes with wider comb between them makes single notes easier than for instance a Lee Oskar. Bend seems about the same as a Special 20, bit it's a little less bluesy sounds in my opinion, though that could just be inexperience.

Great sounding harp, right out of the box. Gave it four stars overall and three stars for value for the money because there are SHARP edges along ends of the top and bottom reed plates as well as sharp rear corners on the top and bottom covers. Wore so skin off the web of my hand before I did some deburring.

Purchased a Crossover C harp. Love the sealed comb and use of screws on faceplates. Own several Hohner harps but this is by far the best harp for several different music genres. Delivery was fast.

The Hohner Crossover was recommended by my Blues Harp teacher. What a gem! It's now my favorite harp. Bamboo comb! Very clean and bendable. Plus, there's a code for free lessons on Harmonica.com, which is just fabulous!

If you are beginning the harp but seriously want to enjoy playing then it is worth the money to get the hohner marineband crossover. Just do it. You won't be sorry.

I went with this deal because of the price...$25 cheaper than most U S companies... shipping took longer, but was worth the cost difference... as a working musician, that helps... thanks..

Amazing! Sounds clear, bright and easy to play. Beautiful instrument. Small note, feels like gaps are slightly different to a lee oskar and othe brands so takes a little getting used. Worth every dollar.

Es el equilibrio perfecto para notas sueltas y acordes. Sonidos con armónicos muy bonitos. Limpio. La estética es maravillosa con su peine de bambú. El estuche de cremallera genial. Soy principiante por lo que solo hablo por comparación con la Special20 que tengo también en C aunque he probado Lee Oskar y Hohner Rocket Amp y Debo decir que Crossover es la mejor en todos los sentidos. Una belleza en la mano. En cuanto a los bendings, creo que son algo más fáciles en la SP20. Aún trabajando este aspecto. Recomendada por tanto esta armónica. Para empezar, la Special20 es un diez en todos los sentidos, pero si quieres tener otra al lado para tocar alguna canción ya aprendida con la SP20 y sentir los armónicos, no dudes en tener una Crossover en tu stock.

Nun, ich habe mir ein paar Mundharmonika der Richtungen chromatisch und Blues von Hohner bestellt. Unter anderem auch diese Crossover. Ich wollte damit Stücke aus verschiedenen Genres spielen und dafür wird sie ja auch beworben und der Name Crossover leitet sich daraus ab. Toll klingt sie. Spricht schon auf sanfte Luft an und lässt sich wirklich toll spielen. Gezogene Töne, Bends, alles toll machbar und jederzeit ein schöner Klang. Durch die kleine Größe und die mitgeliefert praktische Tasche ist sie auch jederzeit dabei und spielbereit und lässt sich sogar über eine Vorbereitung an den Gürtel hängen. Alles in allem ein tolles Instrument für einen fairen Preis. Da hat man lange Freude dran!

Fast delivery and the case is beautifully done as well as the harmonica workmanship is very good.

Upgraded from Special 20, after using it for 10 years. It was well worth for the price Rs. 6500.
