I got this specifically for when I make video calls. Before I was always propping it up against something and it would normally end up falling over. This stand can hold a wide range of phones and standard sized tablets. The viewing angle and height is all adjustable to. Its lightweight and sturdy, And I am very happy with it. Recommended to others.

The media could not be loaded.  This is a simple, well made, solid bit of kit.One thing that caught my eye was the fact that they added some perfectly cnc’d hinge covers as a nice little detail, which I think adds a nice touch.It’s a solid, hefty bit of kit with very smooth moving hinges, that hold firmly in place. It can articulate into a variety of positions to hold your phone, and because it’s a decent weight you always feel like its secure.The addition of the rubber pads is perfect, they are firmly fixed and add a nice buffer for your phone to rest on, thus avoiding any scratches.The design is a nice, simple, clean, look, that works anywhere. There’s enough space to plug your charging lead in, and the holes on the back provide an easy way to feed your lead into position.So my final thoughts;Build quality. =V Good (solid, clean, strong)Utility. =V Good (great articulation into various positions)Value. =OkWould I recommend this?, if your looking for a simple, clean, no fuss look?, “yes”

The media could not be loaded.  This is a very well-designed piece of kit for anyone out there looking for a convenient and safe place to put their phone. The price was £14.99 at the time this review was written, which in my humble opinion is a bargain for this well designed item.Personally, I watch a lot of videos on my phone and am tired of constantly needing to prop it up against books or other things on my desk at an awkward angle. This stand eliminates that problem entirely by both holding the phone and elevating it to a far better height for optimal viewing.It's SUPER hard wearing and has no problems taking the weight of small or larger mobiles (I tried an iPhone 6, 11 then a Samsung Galaxy Note, all held in various positions with no problems). I even tried my Xbox controller - it cradled it like a champ.As you'd expect, it's a little weighty since it needs to counterbalance the weight of the device you put on it, and for this reason (presumably), the hinges are a little stiff to move into place, but not overly so. There are soft rubbery pads on the base to stop any slippage and also rubber pads in place where the stand cradles the bottom and back of the phone/device it holds, so no risk of damage or scratches to your devices.You can use it in a number of positions, it's fully manoeuvrable and can fold up completely into a small, compact square-ish shape when not needed. Great for on the go if you plan to take this device along with you when leaving the house.My phone has a pop socket (phone grip) on the back of it and this does not interfere with the functionality of the stand at all. The holder also has a small hole cut out of the stand itself that's designed for threading through your charger cable - a great design choice since it doesn't bend the cable at an awkward angle and risk damaging it.Please refer to both photographs and the video provided to see this product in action - I'm very impressed with the quality of it compared to other phone stands I've used in the past.Overall, GREAT product - portable and compact when not in use, hard wearing, and attractive with a fully functional design. Great for either use in the home or out and about.

The media could not be loaded.  These are simple and quite elegant, robust phone stands. They have enough “heft” being solid metal, that they sit quite happily wherever you put them. I’ve actually got my iPad Pro 12.9 sat on one now while I write this review on it. The thing I like the most is just how smoothly they work, and how well machined the hinges are, the addition of very nice perfectly CNC’d hinge covers, adds just a touch of design flare that makes them look just that bit “more”.They work perfectly and can be manipulated into many different angles/heights. The feet leave plenty of space to plug in the charging lead, and the holes on the back plate mean you can feed the cable through the back to your phone, which is nice.Now don’t get me wrong, these aren’t your top shelf phone stands, but what they are, is a WELL MADE, CLEANLY DESIGNED, GREAT ADDITION, as a non budget killing option.I actually have this in black and silver, and they will remain in use, one to hold my phone on the side table next to my main chair I sit and type in, and the other on a shelf next to my bed, again, not as a charging place, but simply as a safe, secure, easily used even in the dark, stand where I can put my phone.2 great bonuses I see to these, one I actually used the first night I got the stands out of interest/curiosity, is that because they have an decent weight to them, you can put your phone in one, utilising a low angle, thus a low centre of gravity, on your bed to watch things on your phone, or to flip through TikTok’s. The second bonus is that these are robust enough, and fold down so neatly, that you can use them for travel as a safe easy option to dock your phone.So, my final thoughts on these;Build quality. =GreatAesthetic. =Good (clean & simple)Durability. =Great (these are solid & well made)Functionality. =Brilliant (work perfectly, and can be used in multiple scenarios as solid stands)Would I recommend these strands?, YES, I would, I think they work great as “stands”, you don’t necessarily always want to charge your phone, because it’s not good for the battery health, however having a secure place to stand your phone that can easily be moved about is often all you need, THIS FITS THE BILL PERFECTLY.
