Very good product! I have been using Manic Panic Raven for years to dye my hair, and even had my hair professionally dyed red before, but after 10 minutes, my roots were so bright! My ends lifted beautifully as well. I did see a few spots of red dye, from my past dye, but it didn't bother me at all cause I was going red again regardless. Not only does my hair feel so much softer using Good Dye Young products, but I could tell my hair wasn't as damaged as it would be if I used another bleach. My hair is so soft, and not brittle. I knew this would be a good brand as soon as I saw the blonde hair after ten minutes.

I left this in my hair for like 10-15 minutes because I was scared I was gonna end up bleaching my hair too much. I really just wanted to lighten my hair and sun in wasn’t doing it fast enough and wasn’t really lightening my hair as much as I wanted it too. I only put the bleach on the top half of my hair and I was able to brush the bleach through my hair to try to get a more even highlighted look( I don’t recommend brushing it combing your hair while bleaching I broke a comb) like I said I probably left it in for max 25 minutes and I could already see the difference. It was not a drastic change but my boyfriend said my hair looked more textured and like like it was more defined I suppose. I’m very happy with this dye it didn’t sting like some bleach does. That being said I did only have it in for a short time and tried to avoid my scalp. I usually get real into my roots which is probably why I have experienced stinging while bleaching my hair. I would need two bottle of the larger size if I wanted to bleach my whole head of hair but I only did the top half so I could have more dimension and I used one whole package to do so. I never opened the second package I ordered because I was only doing the top half though I likely could have opened the other bottle just to be sure my hair was evenly coated. My hair goes about to my shoulders or breast and I do not have thin hair at all I have thick hair but it is not incredibly thick. If your hair goes past your boobs and isn’t super thin then you might want to pick up a third bottle if you plan to dye your whole head. I think two bottles would have been a perfect amount if I did my whole head but I didn’t so I’m not sure. I do plan on lighting my whole head a bit more because I would like my hair to be lighter than what the 20 minutes. I think if you have dark hair and plan to add color then definitely check and go for the 50 minute mark they warn you about. I think if you just want to lighten your hair 30-45 should be perfect. You absolutely need toner whenever you bleach your hair I got the shimmer (sparkle?) toner it’s purple I have yet to try it but someone else recommended it and it seems good quality. Even with just the 20 minutes my hair is brassy but there are some parts in the front that don’t seem super brassy but I’ll still need to tone after I try to lighten my hair again.

Best bleach on the market as far as not causing allergic reaction, but it is still bleach, so bear that in mind. I do recommend leaving it on a touch longer than you think unless you’re adding heat to the mix also.

For photo context I had darkish brunette / brown natural hair and red dyed tips using dollar store box dye….. before using this)) Lifted my natural hair to a beautiful yellow-blonde easy peasy, but struggled with the months old dye left in my hair. That’s fine that’s to be expected with manic panic and splat but do go to a salon if you can’t compromise with a little color left over Didn’t make my hair fall off or melt and looked really pretty at the end imo. Def will use again Notes / pro tips: - Bleach your hair in layers in a well ventilated room (open yo windows) - if you want an even bleach, I’d suggest this on virgin hair if you’re a newbie to dying it - The bleach gets kinda crunchy while drying on your head for those 30 minutes but oh well - While washing off use a hair mask or conditioner at the end to keep it hydrated and smooth

Works really good. When I have trouble bleaching my hair or getting it light, this is my go-to. The wait time isnt long, and it gets black hair to a nice strawberry blonde! I definitely recommend this for anyone thats hesitant. It also works really good with ION developer, and it helped a lot as well. It does fry my hair a little bit and leaves it dry, but after a good shower it heals right up.

Was easy to use and brightened hair evenly, would recommend. My hair was already platinum but I used it as a rebleach to remove semi permanent blue, it did the job.

This bleached my hair.. ok, Id def recommend L'Oréal or Ion pure bleach. This kit comes with a 30 vol developer which can be very harsh! When mixing it was kind of clumpy and not the toothpaste like texture u strive for.
