Global 6" Serrated Utility Scallop Knife

I have several well-loved Global knives but have shied away from the Global serrated knives because I don't know if I will be able to sharpen them. But I finally took a chance with this utility knife and WOW I am so glad I did. Super sharp and cuts like a dream. The handle fits well in hand and very comfortable. It is easily one of my favorite knives as it is so versatile. Yeah, it shows all the tomatoes who's boss. But I particularly love it for crusty breads and bagels and cutting assembled sandwiches in half as it handles a multitude of textures/hardness with equal ease. It is also really fantastic for my super soft and delicate white/milk loaves as well and I don't run the risk of smashing the bread when slicing. I love this knife so much, I feel very confident that I will also love the Global bread knife and looking forward to buying that next for my collection.

Lightweight, comfortable to hold, easy to use, balanced well, incredibly sharp — be careful. I did a ton of research to figure out what makes the best knives the best. These meet all of the criteria. They are well worth the price.

Not much to say other than this might be the best knife in my knife roll (of all Global knives.) This knife laughs at tomatoes and slices true and thin with no effort. I have never ever been disappointed with Global's quality of knives (and scissors) and this utility knife is no different. The 5" Global chef knife was always the first knife I reached for when starting to prep. Not anymore, the 6" utility knife is always the first knife out and usually the last knife put away.

I have several Global knives but this one beats all the others. I wish I bought it first cause it does an excellent job with cutting, chopping and in between.

Knife is very light , of course it’s sharp, it’s new so in time I’ll see how it holds its edge. Fits very comfortably in your hand, the handle stays in your palm. Much lighter than the German made knives. Goes through baguettes and ciabattas very smoothly. Gives me wafer thin onion slices and very smooth cutting tomatoes. I’ll give it a thumbs up.

Love the handle, nice size for home chef with lots of ideas and creations. Fits on my magnet strip nicely. Great blade, precise.

When we need an extra kitchen knife, we tend to buy this again and again.

Solid feel and perfect length. Bought this to replace the ancient ginsu that was on myknife rack almost as a goof but for less than 50 bucks this was a steal. teeth look to be the perfect length so as to not bite and pull before the cut begins but meaty enough to get through. As usual you can ust see the legendary global sharpness of the blade and flawless steel. Love these knives and i only ever want more of them!

Can't loose with Global , superb quality, expensive but iconic and practical another winner from Amazon.

Con lama seghettata simmetrica, ha un'ottima capacità di taglio anche su superfici relativamente dure come la cotenna di maiale. La dimensione della lama di 15 cm. è adatta per molteplici usi incluso il taglio di pagnotte purché di dimensioni non eccessive. Buoni il bilanciamento e il manico che permette una agevole impugnatura. L'eccellenza dei prodotti Global si manifesta anche in questo coltello.

C'est sur les conseils de mon fils que j'ai choisi cette marque. Rien à voir avec la coutellerie habituelle. Les tarifs restent toutefois un peu élevés.
