Amazing phone for the price! Excellent, like new condition.
Love this phone and it's worth every penny. Amazing styling, great feel and great looks. A lot of phone for a great price and I actually would expect this phone to cost a lot more. This isn't going to be the best phone out on the market, and as you may know, there are a lot of better phones out there, but you're going to be spending a lot more money, too. Substantial storage amount with 16G phone storage and I've added a 32G card with no issues - plenty of room for pics, music and more. Out of the box, the phone looked exactly as pictured. Even though the item was refurbished, it looked brand new. No marks, scuffs, or any signs of wear - absolutely beautiful. Shipping was super fast and received the phone a lot sooner than expected. The phone operates flawlessly and there are no functional issues. Plugged in my sim card (Tracfone), and powered it right up and was using the phone within minutes. Super easy to register with Tracfone, and guessing if you're planning on using another service provider, no issues as well - the phone seems relatively universal. Once powered on, Android did a system update to 5.1.1 and many of the aps updated, too. The operation is extremely smooth and the display is fabulous. Again, more phone than what you're paying; and the speakers/sound is great, too. I was actually surprised on the quality. The phone was previously a Metro PCS phone, but once I plugged in my sim card, it instantly changed to the new service. There are a few pre-loaded Metro PCS aps, but if you don't need/want, you're able to disable into the background with no issues. Overall, a great buy and for $70, it's a steal. Comparable phones are easily twice as much.

The Infinite Boot-Loop of DOOM
First, I want to say I was really disappointed that the phone didn't work. In all aspects, it *should* be a great little budget phone. Pros: - big 5.5 inch screen - very bright, good quality visuals (when you can get them - more on this later) - easy to hold on to. Cons: - This thing is definitely a brick; for all of its size, it's also a very thick phone (maybe 1/4 inch thick, maybe more.) - NO REMOVABLE BATTERY. This is something I didn't see in the product description, and perhaps that's my fault - Your finger doesn't exactly glide across the screen (when you can use it) WHY I RETURNED IT: Short answer: Boot loop. Infinite boot loop. Long answer: I turned on the phone, and it turned on fine, but as soon as I went to put in the wi-fi, the phone restarted. Now, I should mention that I had fully charged this brick of a phone. So I thought, okay fine, whatever, it's gotta restart. Fair enough. But then it just kept restarting. And restarting. And restarting. I saw the "Alcatel One touch" words flicker across the screen about 7 times before I said "Well, something's wrong." So I looked it up. The phone was experiencing what is known as a "Boot loop", where it continually boots up infinitely forever through time itself. I thought, okay perfect, I'll just take out the battery (I had already tried the power button to no avail - the bootloop persisted). Unfortunately, because of the NON-REMOVABLE battery, I could not. The next step was a hard reset. So I went on to google the procedure, and after an HOUR of trying to get the hard reset menu, I finally was able to reset the phone. Did it work? NO! Of course not. So, a quick chat to Amazon Customer Service later, and I'm returning this brick of a phone. Really upset that I couldn't use it, because it would have been a great budget phone until I could purchase something more my speed.

Great phone for the $
I bought this phone for my friends son to replace a Cricket phone that was damaged. The phone works properly and was easy to set up with the Cricket network, if you have a micro SIM card you will need a macro adapter. Heโs 14 and burning up the gaming world and doing way more with this phone than I do with my IPhone.

Slow Network Speed? Problem Solved!
I love this phone! It has solved all of the problems I was having with network compatibility I was experiencing with the Nokia 640 XL. My Nokia had suddenly slowed down to modem access speed. The only thing I was missing was the noise. I now have speedy LTE access at all times. I can stream video and music, access the internet and, most importantly, use navigation (I am a Wazer) applications without problems. With the Nokia, I was experiencing slow-downs, dropped calls and network disconnections on both cellular and wifi networks - even at home! The most dangerous problems were with navigation. I would get directions so slowly that I would miss turns - if I got any directions at all. The Alcatel One Touch Fierce XL will unfortunately likely be my last Windows phone, considering Microsoft's decision to ever so gradually withdraw its support of the platform. For starters, they have ceased manufacturing hardware. However, as long as the system is supported, I will continue using Windows phones, and I can see Alcatel being the brand of choice for me. So what do I like in addition to my network speeds? I like the quality of sound. I seldom use the camera, because I am a photographer and would rather carry my Panasonic Lumix GX-8 than rely on my phone. However, the quality of the images created with the phone are acceptable. I have used it as a hotspot and it is reliable for that function. If you love the Windows OS and want to continue using the phone platform despite its deficit of applications, you will love using this phone.

Has a Major Design Flaw but Is Durable and Reliable as All Get Out
So this phone has literally lasted me for a year and a half now. Even though I have dropped it at least once a day and the screen is totally cracked majorly. It still works! It is a very durable phone, easy to use and is relatively fast for a lower end phone. My phone does pretty much everything an I phone will do or any of the higher end androids. The only complaint I have about the phone, and it is a very annoying complaint, is that whenever you put the phone to your ear to talk, it hits several buttons in the background. My phone dials voicemail randomly in the middle of calls, pulls up camera, internet, texting , it will get set to airplane mode.... all with my ear. Super annoying. Super inconvenient. I set a pattern lock on my home screen and now cannot get it off. It tells me I must be an administrator. Well I think I am..... but at any rate..... I find paying 50.00 for a phone that does pretty much everything I need it to. holds plenty of apps. great with google maps, uber, fast internet, is just a pleasure. One i am happy to repeat with my next phone which will be another Alcatel phone. I give 3 stars because of the ear dialing issue. I hope they have fixed this on their newer models. Will find out!

Great phone for a great price
So far so good. Just got it a file days ago. Loaded a bunch of apps and a 32gb micro SD card. Everything's working well. Battery seems okay. Later a full day downloading apps and running multiple apps at the same time. Mine came with Android 5.1.1. I ran the system update (recommended) and everything seems to be running fine. I used Tracfone's SIM card. Service works, but I'm gong to call them today to get the correct APN settings. Can't really say anything negative at this point. Hope that continues to be the case. I'll update this review as necessary

everything worked fine and looked good
The phone came a day early only to discover that it was water damaged. I did see that it was listed as a certified refurbished phone, but I kind of by-passed it because I really needed a phone and because once I turned the phone on, everything worked fine and looked good. I think the phone is under Metro Pcs carrier but I have it activated through AT&T Go phone. This phone does what it wants when it wants as far as calling. I can't receive all my calls nor can I call out as often as I need to. I will NOT be purchasing a refurbished phone again. I've previously ordered multiple phones from amazon that have worked perfectly, but never nothing like this where I'm not able to call out when i get ready to nor receive incoming calls. I do NOT recommend this product- I've bought several cases for this phone just to be stomped. - what a waste of over $100!!!!

Great phone for an excellent price
Great phone for an excellent price. I had an Alcatel A30 phone prior to this and stupidly dropped and cracked the glass. For being $70 under prime, the phone feels much faster and the size is great for me. I coupled it with the clear case shown in the picture and I have zero complaints. Came with the Metro PCS skin but worked just fine with my active T-mobile Sim. Do note you may have to visit a store to get the micro sim adapter if you had a nano sim in your prior phone to get it to fit properly.
