    Warning it stains

It allows the soap to dry out as advertised.  The problem I have is that it has stained the tile it sits on a yellowish brown color.  I have not researched how to remove it; I am afraid that the result will be permanent.  Regular cleaning has not touched it.

I bought this mainly for aesthetics. It looks awesome but is not very easy to clean. Water tends to build up around the base of the wood and does not dry as quickly compared to other similar products that have more of an air gap between the countertop and bottom of the Soapdish. there is a product on amazon that sells 2 of the ones previously described for half the price. I am probably not going to buy this again.

Whatever was used to stain the wood seems to run off and color the counter when it gets wet. Pretty huge oversight when making a soap dish. If on the back of the dish there wasn’t written “Love my goats! Love my soaps!” I would give this 1 star. However, on the back is written “Love my goats! Love my soaps!” and so I give this soap dish 5 stars
