Samsung AKG-Tuned IC100 Type-C Earphone, White

Bought it for night podcasts. Then Casually I played a song on YT, IT HAD MY ATTENTION ! Then I put on my list of tracks I consider my benchmark. It was not doing 24-bit/192khz, I knew that. It's crazy that this thing does audio so well, almost flat but nuanced to some warmth. The Bass where it should be was there and PRESENT! Everything was there to a detail I haven't seen at this price. Maybe because it's not marketted as much. You can sleep on this one, decent fit. Not your IN YOUR YEAR IEM. Doesn't hurt if you wear it for long, the buttons are well; currently working. I don't expect them to last for decades. I have a lot of earphones and headphones. From budget to costly but none that are insane at price. As an audiophile, this is not for you. Anyone into serious listening sessions, Not for you. But in this price bracket, these specs and the sound reproduction !! Excellent, few get close. It's a tasty flat sounding setup. Not completely flat, but nuanced and you won't mind. I was out to buy a sleep podcast earphone, it arrived, it was used for podcasts. Now casual listening is a case.

So disappointed with the product. It came with earphones wired incorrectly. Left sound comes from right speaker and right sound comes from left speaker. The connection port connections got loose in literally 3 weeks. Sound quality also felt very poor considering the price i paid for it. Complete loss of my money. Amazon does allow me to replace the item saying that item is out of stock. whereas when purchasing a new one it shows that is is in stock. Very poor service by amazon and very poor quality of product.

Ok so I hope to write a long review as I feel most of the reviews present aren't mentioning important aspects. Looks - 5/5 Build - 5/5 Mic - 5/5 or maybe 4.5/5 Sound - 4.5/5 Bass 4.5/5 With Eq - 5/5 Comfort - 4/5 depends on ear. It's a weird design. Ok so these are pretty good. I am using these with a oneplus device so I do have to turn on otg connection to use it but it's really nice sounding. You'd need to turn the volume up a bit to fully feel the clarity. Bass is GOOD. I am not a extreme basshead but I can definitely say that it's good. I am not sure why people online say that these don't have good bass. AKG or iems? Honestly, if you don't want to get into the design of iems (over the ear) and want a normal earphone with good mic and sound these are the ones. The mic on these are pretty good, I know apple's mic is better but again, you're getting in ear design, better sound so that's fine. The buttons are tactile, works well. Good for calls as well. Pretty impressed. Now to talk about the price.. well i do fell these are slightly on the higher end of it, and I'm not sure if they are worth that much. Because if one decides to buy from samsung store it's not less that 1999, I got for 1700 in Amazon, it's genuine with stickers and engravings. But again I think these are something one would have for the longer run. Worth it imo. Are these bad without eq-?? Not really, pretty good. Even for basic phone scrolling but I do feel while listening to music or watching content if you prefer the sound to be as your choice and elevate the experience then eq is great stuff. Design... Ok so this is something I do have a issue with. I think it's a bit weird, like it's not a simple piston fit, it's angled and has a slightly weird head, although it looks gorgeous, I feel you might need to experiment with some eartips and try to use it for some days, i personally prefer the medium and larger ones. Smaller ones are just too small and as I said it's not a straight piston style so you can't just force it in. Not bad. It does help you get passive noise cancellation... In short, worth it i guess, sounds well, durable, does the job. 4/5 or 4.5/5

Very good sound seperation Not for bass lovers

This is almost the double the price of the competition like oneplus or others. The sound quality is extremely pathetic. No bass no treble, really flat sound profile. All that branding of samsung and akg doesn't matter. I've tried this with multiple devices like pixel 7 pro and Mi Pad to confirm if there was an issue with the phone but the sound was equally bad on both the devices. I'm giving it 1 star for build quality and the braided cable, but everything else about these headphones is bad. Please save your money and don't buy this

I bought these Samsung AKG Type-C earphones primarily for work calls and listening to music during my commute. The sound quality exceeded my expectations—clear audio, balanced bass, and no distortion even at higher volumes. The microphone is excellent for online meetings, and the other person can hear me clearly. They are lightweight, comfortable to wear for long periods, and the Type-C connection works perfectly with my Samsung phone.
