Ok so it sounds kinda strange but I get this elastic to make tie-outs for my small dogs when teaching them property boundries. In this case an exuberant Chipit puppy. About 15 lbs of monster. Lol. Anyway, you'd be surprised how well elastic works for this- dogs can't get tension to snap it like chain and cable. Each of these rolls will make 2 tie-outs that gives Silly Lily Chipit all the room she needs to chase her kitties everywhere, safely. Plus the stretch prevents tripping of humans. I bought a spool of a similar elastic from Amazon about 8 yrs ago. 50-100 ft I think, maybe longer. Lasted 5 yrs till most of roll burned in house fire . That was for a hyper min-pin who could not be trusted loose. Never failed but it did kink somewhat. This does not kink at all. Better, imo, than the dritz braided available locally as well. I sew a lot also, and this will be great for clothing also. Very soft and flexible. For quality and astonishing low price, One of my top 10 Amazon purchases ever. If my Internet will play nice and let me upload this video it will show Lily on her 'chain' with 8ft elastic and a 4, maybe 6 ft leash attached for easy release with restraint in case she gets stuck. Rarely happens but it's convenient. You can see she's happy not getting yanked back and I'm happy she can't hurt me.

I make my own bathing suits and I used this to scrunch the bum area. I cut it in half so it lasts a long time. It’s comfortable to wear against bare skin and it isn’t bulky or heavy. Even cut, it has a lot of stretch without fraying.

I like the size but haven't used it yet the size is perfect for my sewing might use it for the future:)
