My buddy lost a couple hats on the boat. Sometimes you can’t anticipate those gusts of wind and they fly right off. Got him this hat for his bday since it floats and the design is water centric. He loves it.

Water stains sweat stains what ever.. they don't go away easy..

Beautifully made. Really nice fabric and look. Olive green color is really nice. Comes with a fabric bag to keep it in. Will use the bag when traveling. Great gift for a difficult guy. Will buy more in the future.

I wish I would have tried it on first. Doesnt fit very well and as many users have commented, that logo under the bill is horrendous

I don't know what's up with all the glowing reviews here and on Facebook etc. My experience has been very different.I've ordered eight of these hats. Two were from Amazon and six were directly from Melin's website. All but one of the hats (7 out of 8) were extremely misshapen, had crooked bills, front panels misaligned, etc.The first order from Amazon was crushed in shipping. After "uncrushing" the hats and looking at them, I still don't think they would've been acceptable even if they weren't crushed.Then I placed an order directly from Melin's website, thinking it would be the best case scenario for shipping and quality control. I ordered six of the hats in different colors, hoping that at least half of them would be wearable. I only ended up keeping one and returning the rest. They would've been literally embarrassing to wear outside, the quality control was that bad.I have no idea how their Amazon pages and Facebook posts are full of people gushing over these hats. As somebody who really wanted to like them and was willing to pay for a better quality of hat, I've been really disappointed. It's kind of a joke that these hats are being sold at these prices.As a separate point from the quality control issue, the hats aren't consistently sized or even manufactured the same. All eight of the hats I bought were the same "model" (a-game hydro) and not only did they fit differently, they were noticeably different in their construction (material thickness, stitching, etc.)Pros - the materials in general are nice and feel like they're on another level of qualityCons - the manufacturing of the hats is extremely poor quality, lopsided, crooked, inconsistent sizes, etc. Also not a fan of the big rubber badge/button thing on the underside of the bill, but I could've lived with that.I can in no way recommend these hats. I've switched over to buying blanks of other brands (47, Flexfit) that are a fraction of what these cost and have a much higher percentage of "this looks normal when I put it on" experiences. You still get duds but not 7 out of 8 unwearable hats at $60 a pop. Do they wear out faster? I have no idea. They're literally 15% of the price so it doesn't really matter.

Have tried a few of these but unless you have black the sweat stains happen almost immediately and eventually the black hat discolors as well from sweat. For $70 it does not live up to the hype which sucks because other than that I love these hats but unfortunately won’t be buying anymore of them.
