Why not put 7 mm?And why not 9 mm?

I found these useful for situations where a slip fit, or a press fit was needed. I am still using standard US fractional drill sizes, but find these metric drills very useful for the occasional "other" applications. I doubt I'll be using them on steel, rather using them for softer materials such as wood, plastic, aluminum and other soft metals.

These are obviously not the highest quality, look at the price. All drill bits are expendable, they never last long. I've used pretty much every brand made at one point or another. These are average at drilling wood, and low average on metal. But, you get a TON of bits for the price. You also get a convenient, decently made, carrying case. It's worth the money. Buy an expensive set with 1 of each size, drill 30 holes in metal and have a dull bit. Or buy this set, drill 20 holes in metal, throw that dull bit away and get one of your other 9 bits in the same size.

Lots of different sizes and a great case to carry them all in! Great for the home handyman.

Very nice assortment, the range in sizes, the amount for each size, especially in the smaller sizes and the case it came in. Very satisfied with purchase.

Not very strong, but they work. I've never had drill bits snap in half while drilling before, but these will. There seems to be a little variance in dimensions as well. These seem best suited for projects where a perfect fit isn't required, and you don't care if the bits break off multiple times. I noticed not all of them are sharp, and some I had to sharpen before I could even use them, which might be why they were breaking. I was drilling into steel, so they might be fine for woodworking.
