And four 8 packs of AA lithium.On top of another $50 in Eneloop aa/aaa for my gear that can handle the power output.Along with Two 18650 Nuon batteries for my emergency radio.(No rebranded online knock off China18650 for me since I value my safety)Yes, I went into debt for $300 in batteries. And yes, I'd do it again. And plan on getting at least 24 more of both aa/aaa lithium disposables and 16 more nimh rechargeables.No shame in my game.These are the only cells I trust for long-term storage (20–25 years) and critical gear—flashlights, emergency radios, and anything I need to work when the grid doesn't.Let's be blunt: Trump-era tariffs made these harder to find and more expensive. Including releasing heavy metals and toxic hydrogen fluoride (HF), phosphorus pentafluoride (PF₅), and phosphoryl fluoride (POF₃)I'm not gambling with my gear—or my life.Bottom line: If you're a Democrat, Independent, or just someone who sees the writing on the wall, stock up now. These batteries are gold.Don't wait until it's too late. Being unprepared is a luxury no one can afford.If you can't afford to buy these or get $200 to $200 in lithium batteries through Affirm. Or go in debt.Debt can be paid off. Your life and safety cannot.At least buy good Energizer Alkaline batteries in bulk for your flashlight and purchase a small emergency radio.These are far more affordable in bulk and I have over 150 in aa/aaa. They will store for 10 to 12 years.Just use low drain devices such as some flashlights,radio,Etc,etc. When it comes to Alkaline batteries.I advise against rechargeable lithium ion due to their tempermantal nature and possible fire\poison gas risk.And highly stress safer more forgiving of error and accidental overcharging Eneloops or NIMH rechargeable batteries from a reputable manufacturer.And look into Eneloops as they will suffice for standard flashlights, radio, and other gear that does not demand the power conxumption of Lithium.Eneloops will last a long time, user friendly, safer than rechargeable lithium ion batteries. And will save a lot of money over disposable batteries.Look out for number 1. And your family.The far right want you to not be prepared.Not being prepared led to the rise of Germany in WW2 and the Halocaust.P.S. Stock up on 50 lb boxes/buckets of powder laundry detergent. Look for bulk detergent in Amazon or a search engine.It is far more affordable and longer lasting than liquid detergent. With a far longer shelf life. And more environmentally friendly.
