Forget triple antibiotic ointment. Go with Rawleigh's salve instead. With turpentine as an active ingredient to help draw infection and expedite healing of wounds, scrapes, burns, cuts, stings, etc., it really is the best choice you can make for yourself. It's isn't cheap, but with this stuff a little bit goes a long way, and a small tin lasts me a year or more with average use. It has a pleasant pine-y, smell, but isn't too overpowering, and can be used for animals except for cats. I think every household should have a tin of this stuff on hand. Highly recommend.

This is the best salve you can get. I'm almost 70 and we've used this my whole life in our family. It soothes cuts and is a very good drawing salve. I've had cuts that have gotten infected and this salve usually works overnight under a bandaide.

Mom had told me, about the Rawleigh man who came to homes, sold his products. I was looking for a salve to heal cracks, dry patches on my fingers. An occasional cut or scratch elsewhere. Im not a fan of antibiotic cremes. Watkins discontinued their salve, I had looked for it. Found the Rawleigh salve on Amazon. It works well. This tin will last me a long time. The smell is mild.

Can be hard to find this is a great salve for so many uses for so many skin conditions. Such as Tri-City cracked or split skin, Draws infection and slippers out also. Do some to my friend who’s husband cannot get rid of some boils on his arm. Tried everything .. using this for a few days they were cleared up.

This helped so much. I get bad hair bumps and they get swollen really bad and painful. This took the pain away and also took the infection out at well took about a day for me.

This is an ointment with a strong smell of turpines, so beware if that is a turn-off.It seems to be working well on a wound that's taken a long time to heal and surprisingly isn't irritating if used sparingly.Great product if you're looking for a replacement for the discontinued Watkins Petro Carbo.
