The ribbon arrived very quickly and was nicely packaged. Despite what some reviewers mentioned, the spools were easy to open, although they did have a small piece of tape on the end of the ribbon to secure it to the spool. The tape left a tiny amount of residue but I simply snipped that little piece off. The colors are beautiful, and the ribbon is flat, smooth and easy to work with on the needle. It seems, from some reviews, that there are some folks who do not know what they are buying. This is NOT hair ribbon, it is NOT gift wrap ribbon, it IS ribbon intended to be used for embroidery. If a person orders it thinking it is something else that does not make the product bad, it makes the buyer uninformed. The amount of ribbon on each spool is clearly set forth in the description, and for embroidery it is a generous amount. This ribbon is comparable to the more expensive brands which I have used in the past. This ribbon will be my new β€˜go to’ embroidery ribbon. Bottom line ... if you use this ribbon for its intended purpose, embroidery, I believe you will be pleased with both color and quality. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Nice quality silk ribbon *by L***J on August 3, 2017* This review is for Threadnanny 20 Spools of 100% Pure Silk 4mm x 10 meters ribbon. I am very happy with this ribbon. It compares well side-by-side to my stash of YLI and Bucilla silks; I can't tell any difference. I especially like the round plastic spool which keeps the ribbon flat and unkinked. This is a well-rounded collection of colors, with a little of everything. It would be great for someone just starting out in ribbonwork, in my opinion. Beginners may want to add some extra greens to give some life to your greenery as there are only 3 shades of green in this group. Each roll was shrink wrapped. The end of the ribbon was held in place by a small piece of tape which did leave a smidge of sticky residue.
