The nozzle won't even extend when you push the stop button twice. It will extend when the unit is power cycled as a part of its initialization. From my understanding there are electric/smart and non-electric versions of Bidets, with this one being the former. As stated above, the controls will sometimes not respond. I didn't take too much away from the stars for it because the problem usually goes away after about 20 seconds (Really no clue whats up with that). Overall I'd say this is a worthwhile product.
