It is definitely shiny cording. I would have to disagree with the measurement of 2mm. It's thinner compared to other 2mm cording that I have used for other projects. But it comes in a variety of colors

I discovered this cord after starting out with cotton cord. I discover I prefer this kind due to how soft it is, and how much quicker I am able to complete my macrame projects due to its ability to slide across back and forth without getting stuck like cotton does. Plus it comes in a roll with more than the cotton cord does. Pretty and shiny and strong and not expensive! Recommend!

Good quality cord, value for money. Will probably purchase different colors. I always buy one sample first and if I like it will go back and purchase other colors for my jewelry making. I have bought 6 more colors since my original purchase. I am very pleased with the quality and ease of use and the finished quality of my jewelry.
